Location: Qatar
Role & Responsibilities Uniqus is seeking professionals for our ARC team. As an Associate Director, you will work with clients to provide high-quality accounting advisory services set out above. You will be responsible to maintain client relationships with senior stakeholders, work with Partner & Directors as well as mentor the team members apart from providing support on our business development and practice management initiatives.
Responsibilities

- Lead ARC engagements including
IFRS/IPSAS implementation, GAAP conversions, and accounting advisory
. - Advise clients on
complex transactions
(M&A, restructuring, IPO readiness). - Manage
government and private sector client
projects across the region. - Mentor and guide junior team members.
Requirements
We're looking for accounting professionals who are passionate about providing accounting and reporting consulting to clients which includes support on technical and special matters including GAAP Conversion, accounting policy support, new accounting standard implementation (end to end), and Disclosure support for IFRS/USGAAP. The incumbent will work for top global clients across a wide variety of markets and industry sectors.
Qualifications
- CA / ACCA / CPA (or equivalent)
qualification. - 7–10 years of experience in
ARC / Audit / Accounting Advisory
(Big 4 or consulting preferred). - Strong knowledge of
IFRS and IPSAS
. - Experience with
public sector and government clients

Associate Director

Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple complex engagements across accounting advisory, financial reporting transformation, and technical accounting.
- Provide expert guidance on IFRS, IPSAS, and transaction accounting including business combinations, consolidations, and other complex accounting matters.
- Drive strategic initiatives related to finance transformation, accounting process optimization, and systems implementation support.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, and key stakeholders.
- Manage engagement economics, profitability, and project delivery excellence across multiple teams.
- Play a key role in business development by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and leading client discussions.
- Contribute to thought leadership, white papers, and technical publications.

- Collaborate with leadership to grow the ARC practice footprint in Qatar and the wider Middle East.
Requirements
- Professional Qualification: CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Experience: 12–15 years of relevant experience in accounting advisory, financial reporting, or audit, with substantial experience in a consulting or Big 4 environment.
- Strong technical expertise in IFRS, IPSAS, and complex accounting transactions.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale client engagements and managing senior stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills.
- Regional experience in the Middle East preferred; willingness to be based in Qatar.
