Job Overview Job Title: Audio/Visual Systems Technician Location: Doha, Qatar Job Responsibilities Trace Systems is seeking a dynamic Audio/Visual Systems Technician to join our team in support of the AFCENT Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) contract at Doha, Qatar. This role offers the opportunity to engineering and O&M support for VTC and multimedia systems to ensure resources and services are operational and available with minimal interruption. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform all technical support and O&M activities for VTC and multimedia systems; Provide Tier 1 and 2 technical support for VTC and multimedia system issues; Monitor VTC network performance and conduct daily system/equipment checks to ensure connectivity and effective operation; Schedule, coordinate and manage VTC resources, conference rooms, calendars and bridges; and set-up, establish and connect secure and non-secure VTC calls and bride connections; Assist local facilitators with conference room with set-up VTC and operations; and provide training and technical assistance in troubleshooting equipment and connections as required; Provide on-site technical support during DV-hosted (O-6 and above) VTCs; Install, configure, upgrade and maintain VTC suites, desktop VTCs, and audio/visual systems and equipment; Monitor and control VTC performance, utilization and capacity to ensure optimal system performance, availability, serviceability and recoverability; and report vulnerabilities or deficiencies to government technical representatives; Evaluate new requirements, conduct site surveys, research and recommend solutions; and plan, engineer, design and integrate approved solutions; Formulate strategies, develop plans and prepare technical documentation for the integration of new VTC technologies into existing infrastructure; Evaluate existing infrastructure, research current technologies/solutions; and provide hardware/software upgrade and replacement recommendations for end-of-life/end-of- support COTS products to government technical representatives; Recommend network design changes/enhancements for improved system availability and performance; Assist with tracking and management of COTS licenses, warranties, service level agreements renewals for VTC and multimedia systems equipment and software; Support on-demand and ad-hoc multimedia requirements; Develop and maintain up-to-date VTC and multimedia systems and architecture engineering, installation, configuration baseline and accreditation drawings, diagrams and documentation; Update and publish system diagrams and drawings semi-annually or as directed by the government; and Develop and submit a VTC/Multimedia Systems Monthly Status Reports; Other Duties as Required. Minimum Qualifications Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility. Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required. Project management - Coordinate all aspects of project, including scheduling, staffing, coordinate with other trades, coordinate with sales person and customer to ensure project rungs smoothly.

Strong working knowledge of audiovisual control systems (AMX/Crestron/Extron, etc.) changes and troubleshooting.
Proficiency with test and calibration equipment.
Problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
Bachelor`s Degree in a technical subject or equivalent and related work experience in Audio Visual Field with emphasis in AV Integration Project Management.
Strong computer skills - proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
InfoComm CTS certification desirable, CTS-I and CTS-D certification highly desirable.
