Duties & Responsibilities

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sales Engineer (SE) for MMEA / Qatar will be the technical bridge between our Sales Representatives and their pre-sales customers. As a Trend Micro product expert, you will guide customers and prospects in the selection and deployment of Trend Micro Next-Gen security solutions, take joint ownership with the Sales team in developing customer relationships, provide leadership in security architecture, and help influence customer’s technical strategy with strong problem-solving skills. A Sales Engineer is a trusted advisor who develops an understanding of customer needs, risks, tolerance, technology gaps, and implementation strategies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the customer journey with the product and help customers navigate it smoothly.
  • Ensure customer success throughout engagement, onboarding, and product experience.
  • Build and train the sales organization; be an effective storyteller to help the sales team sell better.
  • Understand emerging cybersecurity ecosystems such as SOC services, CSP (cloud service providers), MSSPs, etc.
  • Leverage channel partners by upskilling and training them for customer engagement.
  • Conduct routine updates on new products/technologies for internal sales staff.
  • Work closely with Regional/Global Product Managers and Product Marketing Managers to stay updated on the latest products and technologies.
  • Deliver engaging technical demonstrations highlighting Trend Micro products' advantages and benefits using solid messaging, presentation skills, and public speaking.
  • Encourage and empower partners and channels to propose, position, and convince customers of our solutions.
  • Present complex technical issues and solutions to all organizational levels in an engaging and understandable manner.

EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive experience in delivering high-quality presales support and solutions, adding unique value to customers.
  • Strong understanding of SOC operations, security analytics, cloud architecture, cloud-native application security, SASE, CASB, Zero Trust model is a key advantage.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft O365, Azure, Google Cloud, AWS services is advantageous.
  • Exposure to security software solutions like firewalls, content security, intrusion prevention, encryption, data leakage, and monitoring security is beneficial.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

POSITION OVERVIEW The Sales Engineer (SE) for MMEA / Qatar will be the technical bridge between our Sales Representatives and their pre-sales customers. As a Trend Micro product expert, you will guide customers and prospects in the selection and deployment of Trend Micro Next-Gen security solutions, take joint ownership with the Sales team in developing customer relationships, provide leadership in security architecture, and help influence customer’s technical strategy with strong problem-solving skills. A Sales Engineer is a trusted advisor who develops an understanding of customer needs, risks, tolerance, technology gaps, and implementation strategies. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Understand the customer journey with the product and help customers navigate it smoothly. Ensure customer success throughout engagement, onboarding, and product experience. Build and train the sales organization; be an effective storyteller to help the sales team sell better. Understand emerging cybersecurity ecosystems such as SOC services, CSP (cloud service providers), MSSPs, etc. Leverage channel partners by upskilling and training them for customer engagement. Conduct routine updates on new products/technologies for internal sales staff. Work closely with Regional/Global Product Managers and Product Marketing Managers to stay updated on the latest products and technologies. Deliver engaging technical demonstrations highlighting Trend Micro products' advantages and benefits using solid messaging, presentation skills, and public speaking. Encourage and empower partners and channels to propose, position, and convince customers of our solutions. Present complex technical issues and solutions to all organizational levels in an engaging and understandable manner. Apply strong problem-solving skills to design solutions that address customer problems. Develop close relationships to influence the customer’s technical strategy. Deliver training to customers and prospects about Trend Micro solutions. Work with technical support to ensure ongoing quality support and customer health. Contribute to departmental best practices, strategies, methodologies, and documentation for increased efficiency. Continuously learn and participate in technical communities to maintain current knowledge. Participate in webinars, workshops, and industry events as a speaker or panelist; excellent public speaking skills are an advantage. EXPERIENCE Extensive experience in delivering high-quality presales support and solutions, adding unique value to customers. Strong understanding of SOC operations, security analytics, cloud architecture, cloud-native application security, SASE, CASB, Zero Trust model is a key advantage. Knowledge of Microsoft O365, Azure, Google Cloud, AWS services is advantageous. Exposure to security software solutions like firewalls, content security, intrusion prevention, encryption, data leakage, and monitoring security is beneficial. Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. A strong interest and passion for all aspects of cybersecurity and customer security. The Sales Engineer (SE) with (MMEA/Qatar) will focus on Trend Micro solutions and play a crucial role in driving the sales of our security solutions, particularly those offered by Trend Micro. This role involves providing technical expertise to customers, understanding their security needs, and presenting tailored Trend Micro solutions. The position requires a combination of technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity, specifically within the Trend Micro ecosystem.

PRIMIRY RESPONSIBILITY

Technical Expertise

Demonstrate expertise in cybersecurity, threat intelligence and Trend Micro's security solutions our platform Vision One, showcasing their capabilities in protecting against advanced threats. Collaborate with Trend Micro's technical teams to stay updated on the latest threat landscapes and security technologies, ensuring in-depth knowledge of Trend Micro products.

Solution Presentations

Work closely with the sales team and partners to articulate how Trend Micro solutions effectively address specific security challenges, such as ransomware protection and cloud security. Customize presentations to showcase successful implementations of Trend Micro's solutions in real-world scenarios, emphasizing their impact on improving overall cybersecurity posture.

Client Engagement

Engage with clients to understand their IT architecture and security requirements, providing expert guidance on how Trend Micro solutions can be tailored to meet their unique needs. Collaborate with Trend Micro's technical support team to ensure prompt resolution of any post-sales technical issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Foster relationships with Trend Micro and cybersecurity related user communities and forums to stay connected with the latest user experiences and challenges.

Sales Support

Collaborate with Trend Micro's marketing team to create technical content that highlights the advantages of Trend Micro solutions. Provide input into the development of sales collateral, offering insights into competitive advantages of Trend Micro solutions. Represent the organization at Trend Micro events, conferences, and webinars to strengthen partnerships and contribute to industry knowledge.

**_Requirements_**
- At least 2+ years of Sales Experience in Qatar Market.
- Familiar with MOI-SSD Regulations and procedures.
- Expertise in ELV products such as IP CCTV, ACS, Public Address and Structured Cabling.
- Prepare quotes, designs, & proposals.
- Prepare projects BOQ, cost calculations, specifications, and design drawings.
- Prepare submittals and proposal binders.
- Constant follow up with suppliers to know about new products.
- Prepare projects documentation, manuals & drawings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, professional in appearance and attitude and the ability to listen, comprehend, communicate effectively and solve problems
- Self-motivation, being results-oriented, ability to thrive in a business environment, team player attitude.
- Fluent communication skills in English, Arabic - both written and spoken, Arabic Preferred
- Holding Qatar Driving license.
