**Project** Description**:

- Client Document and Records Management is a global technology change and delivery organization comprising nearly 300 individuals located mostly in Switzerland, Poland and Singapore. Providing global capturing and document processing, archiving and retrieval solutions to all business divisions focusing on supporting Legal, Regulatory and Operational functions. At the moment developing strategic project to build large-scale digital archive for documents and records, that will gradually replace all existing archiving solutions in the bank, and to build an operational document store, that should become a single point of truth for document workflows. The whole system must scale linearly, be fault-tolerant, and handle petabytes of data. Within our organization, you would be working on the Product Development project, with the SCRUM POD Teams consisting of Developers, DevOps, Business Analysts and Quality Analysts/Testers.
- Technologies and frameworks used:
- Development is based on Scala, Java and Javascript language
- Agile Delivery Organization based on PODs model
- JIRA, Confluence, PPM tools, GitHub would be mostly used by you on a daily basis
- Event Driven Architecture with Kafka as event store and Kafka Streams for event streaming
- Reactive streams for streaming data over HTTP: Akka HTTP/Streams
- Non-blocking concurrency: Akka, Monix - FP abstractions: Cats**Responsibilities**:

- We are looking for experienced individual who would be working as QA Automation for the project. Key aspect on this position except technical skills is communication. A person that would be working on such position is expected to be able to speak to senior stakeholders including business representatives.
- **Responsibilities**:
- Adapt existing tests using the test automation framework and expand test coverage
- Configure automated tests to execute reliably and efficiently in CI/CD environments
- Identify, share, and nurture the adoption of best practices in code health, testing, testability, and maintainability in collaboration with the wider testing team
- Analyze complex software systems and collaborate with others to improve the overall design, testability, and quality
- Track and communicate test results in a timely, effective, and automated manner
- Effectively document identified defects in the defect tracking system that is easily understood by developers; work with developers as necessary to resolve issues
- Provide feedback and report results of testing to management and stakeholders

**Skills**:
Must have
- Willingness and ability to work with both: automation and manual testing
- Excellent testing experience and very good understanding of full testing lifecycle
- Good understanding of test automation concepts and patterns
- Proficiency with Java 8 or later
- Good knowledge of Unix console commands
- Selenium WebDriver and Rest Assured experience
- Test reporting tools experience (Allure)
- Practical experience with CI/CD
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience in an agile development environment, agile mindset
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have ability to build a strong working relationship with the managers and team members

What your day will look like

  • Monitor indicators of quality across the Ubuntu ecosystem and products
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Ubuntu Desktop, Ubuntu Server and Ubuntu Core
  • Enhance our continuous integration to guard Ubuntu image, release and package quality
  • Report on KPIs and analytical insights
  • Empower other teams for better planning and constant quality improvements
  • Develop, enhance and automate test cases, from unit tests to end-to-end multi machine workloads
  • Work from home with international travel twice a year, for events up to two weeks long

What we are looking for in you

  • A strong software engineering, Linux, and open source background
  • In-depth knowledge of Python and Shell scripting
  • Experience with C/C++
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience working with others to identify, isolate and resolve issues

  • Supervising the installation of automation systems and providing guidance and support to the Technicians.
  • Support in customers workshops, meetings, events and presentations as and when needed.
  • Cybersecurity design, engineering, testing and commissioning.
  • Apply methods to integrate electrical/electronic, mechanical and software components/subsystems into one system and ensure correct function.

Your success is grounded in

  • You should be a graduate withBachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Industrial Automation Engineering or equivalent with at least 7 years in the field of PLC, SCADA, HMI, OT Cybersecurity, Networking, etc. on Siemens products and portfolios.
  • Preferably trained in Distributed Control Systems and PCS7.
  • You should have hands-on knowledge & experience of Siemens PLC programming languages such as Function Blocks, ladder logic, CFC, SFC, Safety Matrix, etc.
  • You should have hands-on knowledge & experience in SCL / STL Coding and Block Customizations
  • You should have hands-on knowledge & experience in various industrial communication protocols
  • You should have hand-on knowledge & experience in various Microsoft office tools, HW Engineering tools (AutoCAD / EPLAN).
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

You‘ll make an impact by: Implement assigned engineering packages, using project specific software programming techniques Analyse the technical specification, testing and documentation requirement of the project given by the Lead Engineer for the relevant work package Testing and Commissioning of the engineered solution at customer sites Support Lead Engineer and Project Manager for project execution activities Technical clarification with customers and sub-suppliers Actively utilize all sources of information, know-how and experience for a project specific and entrepreneurial use. Make use of opportunities to learn from others and share experience To support customers internally and externally and to support the back-office operations when required. Preparing project documents i.e., IO lists, BOM, FDS, Control Philosophy, Method Statement, testing procedures, etc. to instruct the users how to use the device and other safety instructions and provide efficient deliverables with quality on time. Using Siemens automation software to write PLC programs and testing the program using automation equipment for its reliability. Assist in development of software testing, Hardware testing, Quality Assurance processes and As-built support. Troubleshooting any faults in the system and preparing RCA reports. Supervising the installation of automation systems and providing guidance and support to the Technicians. Support in customers workshops, meetings, events and presentations as and when needed. Cybersecurity design, engineering, testing and commissioning. Apply methods to integrate electrical/electronic, mechanical and software components/subsystems into one system and ensure correct function. Your success is grounded in You should be a graduate withBachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Industrial Automation Engineering or equivalent with at least 7 years in the field of PLC, SCADA, HMI, OT Cybersecurity, Networking, etc. on Siemens products and portfolios. Preferably trained in Distributed Control Systems and PCS7. You should have hands-on knowledge & experience of Siemens PLC programming languages such as Function Blocks, ladder logic, CFC, SFC, Safety Matrix, etc. You should have hands-on knowledge & experience in SCL / STL Coding and Block Customizations You should have hands-on knowledge & experience in various industrial communication protocols You should have hand-on knowledge & experience in various Microsoft office tools, HW Engineering tools (AutoCAD / EPLAN). Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to solve complex problems with minimum guidance. Ability for self-learning. Ability to work in multicultural environment. - participate in the evolution and extension of our Testing Automation Framework
- participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle - requirements, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment.
- participate in the project planning process including estimating and processing improvements in an Agile environment.

**Your team**
- You will join a highly motivated, international crew with several Scrum teams that develop and maintain Credit
- and Debit
- Card solutions for our clients. We create a connected, free and unlimited cards world by providing smart and easy cards and payments products and services. You will be based in Doha, Qatar

**Your expertise**
- 6+ years of experience of testing complex systems and business flows with solid knowledge of standard testing practices, tools and reporting
- analyze, design, and build automated test cases based on acceptance criteria captured in user stories
- collaborating with development teams to develop quality products; working closely together to understand the functionality and devise acceptance tests at an appropriate test level, prioritizing both speed and quality to support continuous delivery
- full understanding of Agile methodology, QA and Defect Lifecycle
- Java / VBScript programming experience
- automation experience using various tools preferably Selenium, Cucumber
- experience with Test data identification & creation
- experience in building automation frameworks (GUI, API)
