Position: Bodyshop Service Advisor

We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Bodyshop Service Advisor to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, and insurance providers, ensuring a smooth and efficient repair process from intake to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assess vehicle damage, and initiate repair orders
• Coordinate with bodyshop technicians to schedule and monitor repairs
• Prepare accurate estimates and explain repair procedures to customers
• Liaise with insurance companies for approvals and documentation
• Track parts orders and ensure timely delivery
• Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the repair cycle
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Update job status and maintain records in the system

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor in a bodyshop or collision center
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and insurance workflows
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Should have previous experience as Auto/Car Mechanic

Should have valid QID & ready to join as soon as possible

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: QAR2, QAR2,400.00 per month

• Fixing or replacing damaged parts (brake pads, alternators, spark plugs, belts, and hoses).
• Repairing or rebuilding engines and transmissions.
• Addressing problems with electrical systems, suspension, exhaust systems, and other critical vehicle components.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid level checks.
• Replacing filters, belts, and other components based on manufacturer recommendations
• Performing safety checks to ensure the vehicle meets local safety regulations.
• After repairs, mechanics conduct road tests and use diagnostic tools to ensure vehicles are operating properly.
• Verifying that all repairs meet safety and quality standards before returning vehicles
• Keeping detailed records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
• Tracking inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring the shop stays stocked and organized.
• Ensuring that all work is done following safety protocols and industry standards.
• Using tools and equipment safely to prevent accidents and injuries.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles.
• Perform regular maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
• Test drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify problems accurately.
• Repair or replace parts such as brakes, engines, transmission systems, suspension, air conditioning, and other major components.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance work comply with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and labor time.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repairs, timelines, and costs.
• Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organized.
• Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training preferred).
• Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic, Automotive Technician, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (mechanical, electrical, and electronic).
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools effectively.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent (preferred, not required).
• Experience with a variety of vehicle makes and models.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.

• Only for Philippines Nationals.

• Assist senior mechanics in vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing.
