Overview of the role
As a Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for controlling and guiding the repair and maintenance activities in the workshop. Your goal will be to achieve or exceed business targets by ensuring maximum productivity and technical efficiency on the technical floor, all while maintaining topmost customer satisfaction
What you will do
• Utilize work bays efficiently and plan workshop capacity and loading
• Optimize productivity, efficiency, and workshop output, and continuously review for improvement
• Administer technicians' time booking and update the incentive system
• Ensure safety and security of associates on the floor
• Implement dealer standards on the workshop floor and ensure quality inspections
• Motivate and guide associates, providing necessary training and development
• Conduct effective daily and weekly meetings with the technician team
• Manage product concerns and follow the escalation process to achieve prompt resolution and customer satisfactio
Required skills to be successful
• Diploma or Bachelor of Automobile/Mechanical Engineering
• 5 to 7 years of experience with an automobile dealership, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role in the service department
• Knowledge of automotive dealer/distributor business processes, MS Office, ERP skills, and strong people and technical skills
• Behavioral competencies such as being people-oriented, strategic, analytical, honest, responsible, culturally sensitive, and having sound work ethic

You will lead a team of 11 technicians and report to the Service Manager.The team is dedicated to achieving budgeted service revenue targets and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction
