Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Access Control Officer
to join our team In this role you will get to ensure that the visit is duly approved and endorsed by the appropriate authorizing personnel or his delegate.
What You'll Be Doing
- Receive all applications for all forms of required access to the premises and review all applications for entry to ensure they are correctly filled as required and all information relating to the identity of the visitor as well as the purpose of visit is properly captured.
- Make a note of any additional information based on his observations and forward for approval/signature all applications received for access after proper scrutiny and review.
- Exhibit a high degree of motivation toward providing guest satisfaction by displaying a friendly approach to guest service. In addition, he must be able to deal with many guests and/or employees each day in a positive, friendly and professional manner
- Carry out periodic inspections of the access control devices at all entrances to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Control public and visitor access through the use hand held metal detectors, baggage/hand delivered mail and parcels screening and gender specific physical searching of visitors as necessary.
- Reception and issue of ID passes for external contractors/vendors and monitor CCTV cameras and respond to intruder, perimeter and fire alarms.
- Ensure that all evacuation procedures are applied and use the electronic traffic management system for access to car park & goods delivery yard.
- Participate in all security/police training exercises.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- High school diploma (or equivalent), college level education certification is preferred.
- 5-year relevant experience in a classified contract guard environment.
- Able to read, speak and understand English & Arabic languages fluently.
- Must have previous supervisory experience or proper training (Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement )

We are looking for an experienced Technician with strong knowledge in CCTV, Access Control Systems, and Shooting Range technologies. - Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems (IP/Analog), NVRs/DVRs, and monitoring solutions.
