About the role

In this role you will act as a business partner and single point of contact for senior and executive management in Finance for the respective business. You will add value to the QR Group by building a trustworthy relationship with finance and business heads through meaningful and insightful reporting and analyses for senior and executive management in Finance and Business. Collaboration is the key, hence we would require your focus on “connecting the dots” within QR Group businesses and Finance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of Qatar Airways Group goals and objectives and providing insightful information to the senior management team.
- Responsible for the development of strategic financial plans to measure financial performance that will assist and steer the business toward sustained profitability.
- Advise the key members of the finance senior management on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.
- Ensure effective communication and relationship between senior management Finance and Business
- Act as a business partner for business and as a bridge between business and finance in an open, transparent way.
- Manage your team and promote a helpful team in a positive environment.
- Financial analyses to include monthly /quarterly reporting of KPIs, cost of investment and potential financing scenarios, realistic revenue/cost assumptions, manpower impact, sensitivity analysis, generation of EVA metrics including IRR, NPV, and payback analysis, and highlighting any risks and opportunities associated with any projects.
- To present an objective view of the financial situation and provide sound recommendations for the allocation of resources in the most efficient way to achieve the business goals and objectives.
- Incorporate forecast planning into the organization and ensure provisions are made for major risks and opportunities defined from the course of normal operations.
- Creating awareness of the financial dynamics to the senior management of the business through transparent, reliable reports, analyses, and presentations with a focus on KPIs and key messages.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of job-related experience.
- 5 years of experience in an airline management position would be preferred.
- Super skilled in Data Analysis and Reporting with the knowledge in Data Analytical tools like Power BI, Tableu etc.
- Strong developed “soft skills”, high level of integrity, open /transparent, team player.
- Passionate about digitalization and innovation.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-centric driven approach.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, as is the ability to work effectively across the organization.
- Must have an excellent organizational ability to be able to set priorities, and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review variances, and understand the business cycle and their impact on the profit and loss account.
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinates' skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members
