Pastry Chef
Our luxury hotel in Al-Khor is seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing exquisite desserts, pastries, breads, and other baked goods for our guests. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to develop new menu items and ensure high quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, breads, and other baked goods
- Develop new menu items that align with our brand and culinary vision
- Oversee the production of all pastry items in the kitchen
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Ensure high quality standards are maintained at all times
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized pastry kitchen
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant field
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and pastry ingredients
- Creative mind with a passion for creating visually stunning desserts
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and develop junior staff members
- Excellent time management skills
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is an asset)
Salary: $1500 per month
Location: Al-Khor, Qatar
