Job Description
You will be a practitioner on our telehealth platform 'Intellect', where your role is to support our clients' mental health and personal growth based on the individual needs and goals. This is delivered primarily through scheduled 30-minute video sessions on our platform.
This is a freelance remote role with the flexibility to decide your business hours. Local candidates are preferred but others can still be considered. This role is a great opportunity to supplement your current job or private practice.
We're seeking to partner with International Coaching Federation (ICF) Coaches, Clinical Psychologists, and counsellors to be part of a community working collaboratively to bring greater mental health access to the public to provide mental health coaching.
What You'll Do- Provide 1-on-1 telehealth professional or mental health coaching for Intellect’s clients
- Focus on sub-clinical cases such as work stress, procrastination, work-life balance, etc.
- Support your clients in setting up either personal or career goals, relationships, etc.
- Collaboratively work with the internal clinical team by suggesting improvements to the program and the platform.
- Has an active International Coaching Federation Certification OR a Master/Postgraduate Diploma training in Counselling
- Skilled in coaching techniques and/or evidence-based approaches (e.g. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, SFBT, etc.)
- ICF Coaches must have at least 200 coaching hours
- Counsellors must have at least 300 clinical hours post-graduation
- Candidate must be proficient in English and local language
- Candidates with prior experience in EAP, counselling working adults or coaching managerial roles are prioritized.

Job Description
The Psychologist - Women's Mental Health (Master's) is responsible for providing specialist psychological assessment, diagnosis, and interventions for Women patients. The Psychologist is responsible for evaluating complex psychological data and formulating / implementing a formal psychological treatment plan for patients. The Women’s Psychologist is also responsible for providing specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to the patient’s treatment plan.
KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Evaluates the seriousness of issues and makes decisions regarding the most effective and suitable treatment options.
- Provides specialist psychological assessments and diagnosis for patients referred to the team based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex psychological data from a variety of sources including psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the client’s care.
- Provides clinical formulations and comprehensive written reports regarding assessments completed or tests administered.
- Provides specialized clinical psychological input to patients and/or families including assessment results and proposed psychological interventions for patients with long term complex clinical presentations.
- Formulates and implements plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of a patient’s mental health problems, based upon an appropriate conceptual framework of the patient’s problems, and employing methods of proven efficacy, across the full range of care settings.
- Implements a range of psychological interventions, adjusting and refining psychological formulations drawing upon different explanatory models and maintaining a number of provisional hypotheses.
- Evaluates and makes decisions about treatment options taking into account both theoretical and therapeutic models and highly complex factors concerning historical and developmental processes that have shaped the individual.
- Provides after-hours on-call coverage on a rotation basis with other clinicians in the Department.
- Provides specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to patient’s formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan.
- Undertakes risk assessment and risk management for individual patients and provides general advice to other professionals on psychological aspects of risk assessment and management.
- Provides group therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings as needed. Makes sure that patient participation and input is integrated with the overall treatment plan.
- Maintains confidentiality with regards to information exchanged or received in the current capacity of role in accordance with departmental guidelines.
- Undertakes risk assessment and risk management for individual patients and provides general advice to other professionals on psychological aspects of risk assessment and management.
- Keeps abreast with current literature, talks with colleagues, and participates in professional organizations or conferences to keep abreast of developments in clinical psychology, counselling, perinatal psychology, serious mental illness/severe emotional disturbance, and/or neuropsychology.
- Provides psychological services (e.g., assessment, intervention, consultation) with cultural competence appropriate to a wide variety of ethnic, linguistic, and religious populations.
- Provides clinical supervision, based on scope and experience, to improve clinical skills and professional development of students, trainees, and early career colleagues.
- Engages in peer consultation and multidisciplinary meetings in order to improve clinical care and to maintain ongoing professional standards.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS – REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
Education Master’s in Clinical Psychology
Experience 5+ years’ experience as a practicing clinical psychologist, inclusive of 2+ years in the area of women’s psychology
Certification and Licensure
- Current License in country of origin as a Psychologist, Professional Counselor, or Psychotherapist
- Eligible for license in State of Qatar
Job Specific Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated experience in theoreticalpsychological techniques and expertise in providing consultations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Fluency in written and spoken English
