We are seeking an experienced Operations Management Leader to join our team for a major 5-year consulting program with a public sector organization focused on the operation and maintenance of roads and drainage assets. The Operations Leader will report directly to the Program Director and will be responsible for leading consulting and client teams in the execution of operational transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & Team Management:

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 25 years of experience in a relevant area, with at least 15 years in a leading role, preferably within the roads or drainage sectors.
  • Qualified professional who has reached the Senior Management level; capable of providing planning, leadership, direction, and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multi-discipline projects.
  • Both regional and international experience is required. A minimum of 8 years of experience shall be gained working in North America, W. Europe, Australia, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated success in leading transformational projects and managing diverse teams.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in the USA, Canada, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Required relevant Chartered status and Professional License(s).

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in operations management principles and methodologies.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Language Skills:

  • Arabic language skills are preferred but not essential.

GovCIO is currently hiring for SharePoint Operations/Base Records Management. This position will be located in Qatar and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

Provide SharePoint operation and other web technology support. The contractor shall:

  1. Administer, operate, maintain and sustain AFCENT SharePoint and other web technologies for standardized layout development, accessibility, and security;
  2. Ensure information is cleared by the local Public Affairs office prior to publishing;

Provide base records management support. The contractor shall:

  1. Augment the Base Record Manager, Base Publication Manager, and the Base Privacy Manager;

Serve as the record custodian and provide continuity between active duty member rotations.

Qualifications

Handle client escalations and complex move cases professionally

Collaborate with global mobility teams to streamline client experiences

Develop and execute growth strategies to expand market share in Qatar and GCC

Maintain high standards for health, safety, and quality assurance

Ensure full documentation, invoicing, and system updates are completed accurately and on time

Train and mentor staff on international move procedures, immigration requirements, and customer handling

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in the moving/relocation industry (HHG and/or O&I)

Proven experience managing international and domestic moves

Working knowledge of immigration procedures in Qatar or GCC

Leadership experience with operational and team management responsibilities

Strong understanding of FIDI and other industry certifications (preferred)

Excellent communication, client service, and problem-solving skills

We assist clients with Investment Visas, Start-up visas, Owner Operator LMIA, work permits, PNP, and PR visa applications. Our team is dedicated to providing comprehensive support throughout the immigration process.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Branch Manager – Immigration Services, located in Doha, Qatar. The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a team, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. Additional duties include developing and implementing business strategies, handling client consultations, preparing and submitting visa applications, and ensuring client satisfaction. The Branch Manager will also be involved in staff training, performance evaluations, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge on immigration policies.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience in immigration services and a thorough understanding of immigration regulations
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide client consultations
  • Proficiency in preparing and submitting visa applications
  • Strategic planning and business development skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stay updated with changing immigration policies
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field is preferred
  • Experience working in a similar role within the immigration consulting industry
