Position Overview

TheSenior Architect Designeris responsible for leading the conceptualization, development, and execution of architectural designs for high-profile projects. This role involves creative problem-solving, technical expertise, and leadership in coordinating with clients, consultants, and project teams to deliver innovative and functional architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architectural Design & Development:

Lead the conceptual and schematic design phases for complex projects.

Develop innovative, sustainable, and functional architectural solutions.

Ensure designs align with client requirements, building codes, and project feasibility.

Oversee the creation of architectural drawings, sketches, and 3D visualizations.

2. Project Coordination & Leadership:

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and consultants.

Provide design direction to junior architects and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Review and refine designs based on stakeholder feedback and technical constraints.

Ensure seamless coordination between design, engineering, and construction teams.

3. Technical Expertise & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and zoning laws.

Conduct design feasibility studies and site analysis.

Integrate sustainable design principles and innovative technologies into projects.

Oversee the preparation of construction documents and specifications.

4. Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

Present design concepts, proposals, and progress updates to clients and stakeholders.

Interpret client needs and translate them into compelling architectural designs.

Address client concerns and provide expert guidance on design strategies.

Skills

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:Bachelor's in Architecture.

Experience:7+ years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

Technical Skills:

o Proficiency inAutoCAD, Revit, and 3ds Max.

o Familiarity withAdobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Soft Skills:

o Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.

o Excellent communication and presentation skills.

o Creative problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Preferred Certifications:

Licensed Architect (UPDA Grade A)

mselect is looking to hire a Civil Engineer for a oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar . Candidates must have a minimum of 10-12 years' experience in Structural Design & Construction. Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Civil/Structural Engineering activities throughout all stages of the assigned projects
• Check and review all project drawings and documents (civil, structural, specifications, calculations and proposed materials) submitted by others by the project scope, specifications, applicable standards
• Participate and aid in projects' pre-commissioning, commissioning and Hand-over activities
• Review and evaluate the Contract Changes/Variation to approved guidelines and applicable codes, standards and practices, make recommendations for approval or rejection of technical deviations
• Review and approve method statements developed by contracted organizations for scope compliance Liaise with contracted organizations to resolve technical issues
• Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance Participate in pretender meetings, and related technical and commercial evaluations on contract bids received and administered by the Division and submit Technical Evaluation reports
• Plan and coordinate activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers for providing timely delivery of technical services to meet the project requirements
• Co-ordinate engineering designs, develop and review multi-disciplinary work scopes for projects and other engineering activities Ensure that the work scope is comprehensive and clear
• Support the development of personal technical competency and skills and those of Co-workers Participate in structured training for Associate Engineers
• Ability to work in multi-discipline/cultural environment
• Ability to resolve technical challenges related to Civil/Structural Engineering work and adjacent discipline issues
• Conducts civil works inspection of leased buildings/takeover of completed buildings or facilities with user Department and final acceptance from Contractor/Project Department
• Ensure achievement of approved KPI and customer satisfaction Attends any other task assigned by the management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10-12 years' experience in Structural Design & Construction
• Minimum 6 years' experience in Structural Design & Construction, in large buildings and civil/infrastructure projects, including at least 6 years' experience at the Supervisory level
• Good knowledge of construction activities and project management
• Experience in projects' pre-commissioning, commissioning and Hand-over activities
• Possess good communication and presentation skills
• Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
• Computer literate in mainstream MS Office products and structural design packages

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing geospatial data, producing detailed CAD drawings, and supporting geotechnical projects. This position requires technical expertise in GIS and CAD software, along with a strong understanding of geotechnical principles.

1. Working with Shapefiles, thematic maps, conversion from CAD, KMZ, and geodatabases.
2. Create, update, and maintain geospatial data using GIS software.
3. Produce detailed CAD drawings for geotechnical projects, including site layout plans, cross-sections, and geological profiles.
4. Support engineering teams by converting conceptual designs and structural sketches into technical drawings.
5. Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate and timely project deliverables.
6. Coordinate with various engineering disciplines to produce accurate technical drawings.
7. Perform spatial analysis and data visualization to support geotechnical investigations.
8. Manage and organize large datasets, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
9. Conduct field surveys and collect geospatial data as needed.
10. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in geospatial data management and CAD drafting.

• Diploma in Geospatial Science, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field with 8 years of experience.
• Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Understanding of geotechnical principles and practices.
• Experience in creating and managing geospatial data and producing CAD drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management and drafting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in geospatial data management and CAD drafting.

• Certification in GIS or CAD software.
