Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor supports the Facilities Maintenance Superintendent in the maintenance of all Amentum facilities at the designated site. Supervises and evaluates employees and coordinates the activities of the Facilities maintenance team as directed by the FMT Superintendent. Provides supports with creating reports, maintaining records and handling documentation. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
Principal Accountabilities
- Manages FMT work orders involving structural, mechanical, electrical and facility preservation tasks.
- Ensures that the Preventive Maintenance Program is strictly adhered to.
- Maintains high standards of quality, safety and performance of the FMT department.
- Performs periodic inspections.
- Identifies and initiates corrective maintenance requirements.
- Oversees preventative and corrective work orders in the DBMS (Maximo), ensuring timely completion within allowable periods.
- Manages the issuance of preventative and corrective work orders from the DBMS (Maximo) to the Facilities Maintenance Team.
- Identifies parts and material requirements and initiates purchase requests accordingly.
- Responsible for the accountability and condition of tools and equipment.
- Provides and documents on the job training to FMT personnel.
- Reports personnel issues to the FMT Superintendent.
- Conforms to Amentum / USAF safety / handling of hazardous materials (HAZMAT) IAW quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Works in office environment, maintenance shop and throughout the site booth outdoors and indoors.

About the role
This position is for a Field Technician in Aftermarket and Service, reporting to Service Supervisor. Installs, tests, services, and repairs equipment to conform with company operating specifications and customer requirements. Perform jobs given on daily basis by direct supervisor, carries out work related to maintenance contracts, repairs and some warranty related jobs. Relies on moderate experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks as instructed by Service Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities :
As a Maintenance technician, you’ll be responsible for :
- Receives daily job schedules from concerned Service Supervisor and executes accordingly in a timely manner
- Executes and completes the job as per the budgeted man-hour
- Use SYCLO device and generate / deliver time confirmations, job cards and EH&S site surveys
- Meets assigned SOIP target (revenue, utilization, GM, call back rate, EH&S, and MFA)
- Executes assigned jobs
- Assists Senior Technicians on jobs as required
- Reports escalated problems and spare parts requirements to Supervisor for necessary arrangements
- Install spare parts when attended
- Attends EH&S trainings and always follow guidelines
- Use right tools & PPEs in appropriate way. Inspect and inform Supervisors.

Essential Job Duties
- Perform repairs, renovations, and preventive maintenance on customer facilities.
- Remodel, retrofit, and repair interior and exterior structures made of wood, light gauge metal, drywall, or plaster, and the associated plumbing systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and user-level preventive maintenance checks on plumbing systems and ensure higher-level preventive maintenance inspections are being conducted.
- Provide minor repairs to plumbing systems (water, sewage, and wastewater), old piping, clogged fixtures, leaky faucets, and equipment; check old pipes for fit, soundness, and operation; and maintain available back-up assets on hand to ensure operational levels.
- Conduct coordination with other facility maintenance tradesmen and civil engineering authorities.
- Work from blueprints, specifications, drawings, and instructions to remodel, retrofit, maintain, and repair various types of facilities and structures.
- Inspect completed work for conformance with specifications, requirements and compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations; inspect related work by contractors.

Minimum Requirements
- Active in Scope TS/SCI security clearance.
- Five years of relevant facility maintenance experience.
- Experience with maintenance of residential and commercial structural, plumbing, locksmith, fencing, gating, furnishings or other common fixtures and systems.
- Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the construction and facilities trades.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of the Air Force or Army culture, language and expectations for mission success.
