What you will be doing :

You'll be responsible for performing high-quality carpentry work, including the installation, repair, and maintenance of wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures throughout the hotel.

Design and build custom pieces tailored to our unique hotel spaces, from guest rooms to public areas, ensuring our design vision comes to life with precision.

Conduct regular inspections to identify wear and tear, fixing doors, windows, furniture, and more to ensure everything is in top shape for our guests.

Contribute to the overall guest experience by ensuring our woodwork and fixtures are not only beautiful but also safe, functional, and in pristine condition.

Always adhere to safety guidelines, keeping your work area organized and maintaining a safe environment for everyone on the property.

Qualifications

• Proven carpentry experience, ideally in a hotel or commercial setting.
• Skilled in using carpentry tools.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and follow safety standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent; carpentry training or apprenticeship preferred.

• Measure and cut drywall panels to fit specific areas, ensuring precise dimensions for a seamless finish.
• Install gypsum board on walls and ceilings, employing techniques that enhance structural integrity and aesthetics.
• Apply joint tape and compound with skillful techniques to create smooth, invisible joints between panels.
• Mix and apply plaster or other finishing materials to achieve desired textures and finishes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, managing tools and materials effectively to minimize waste.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools safely to maximize efficiency while adhering to safety standards.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout and installation requirements accurately.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations, ensuring compliance in all projects.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in gypsum carpentry or a closely related field.
