Responsibilities

Ensure that the Contractor’s structural engineering designs for Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope), Gas and MEG Pipeline comply with contract requirements, codes, and standards. Provide guidance to promote compliance.

Plan and schedule structural engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with Qatargas policies, standards, and project management systems.

Participate in key design workshops, ensuring correct implementation of structural design recommendations and closure of actions before EPCI completion (Lessons Learned, Value Engineering, HAZOP, 3D model reviews, engineering criticality assessment, etc.).

Supervise engineering interfaces between structural disciplines and teams such as Operations, Drilling, Well Management, and the Onshore Project Team.

Support the Offshore Engineering Manager in monitoring the contractor’s progress on structural and pipeline design document delivery.
