Recently, CH2M HILL has been awarded 3 site supervision packages on a major expressway project in Doha.

Because of this project win, we are searching for a number of Inspectors to join the team in Doha.

As an inspector, you will be working alongside the Resident Engineers and Senior Resident Engineers to ensure that all works are completed to the design specifications.

To be successful in this position, you must possess the following:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or Diploma of Civil Engineering)
2. At least 7 years of experience, with 5 years on major Highway Projects
3. Solid communication skills (both written and spoken)
4. Willing to accept a salary of QAR12,000 per month (including living and transportation allowance)

Industrial Projects (Power Plants, Water Plants, Oil & Gas)

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a QC Inspector in civil engineering.
• Proven background in Power, Water Plant, or Oil & Gas projects.
• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards, procedures, and inspection methods.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

This position is responsible for surveillance and inspection of Civil, Structural and Building works associated with the Project. This position involves both office and fieldwork.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and report non-compliance in accordance with standards and company systems.
• Provide regular follow up, reporting and records keeping for site condition and progress of the assigned tasks.
• Verify that material used complies with specification requirements.
• Verify that trenching, soil compaction, driven piling, concrete foundations, anchor bolting, erection, etc., complies with contractual agreements.
• Surveillance of Batch plant operations including verification of concrete production sampling.
• Audit of inspection records, contractors ITP, and adherence to contractors' Quality Plan.
• Surveillance of buildings regulatory inspection.
• Inspection of contractor and subcontractors works to verify compliance.
• Reviews inspection & test results to evaluate compliance to project specification acceptance criteria.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English, excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
• Computer literate (Fully conversant with MS Office).
• Surveillance of Batch plant operations including verification of concrete production sampling and testing.
