The purpose of the senior cloud engineer role is to design and deploy robust and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms like Azure and Google Cloud, ensuring deployment best practices are followed and maintained. The senior cloud engineer will be part of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) team and will work closely with cloud architects and stakeholders within the ICT department to provide guidance on cloud deployment designs and engineering. Required Experience and Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience working on cloud platforms like Azure and GCP as a cloud administrator.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure troubleshooting, operation management, and resource optimization.
• Strong experience in implementing cloud infrastructure and application solutions focusing on CI/CD and automation.
• Ability to provide technical leadership through code reviews and guidance on engineering best practices.
• 5+ years of experience with containerization platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, and RedHat OpenShift.
• Experience with designing and managing DevOps/CICD/SDLC tools including Azure DevOps, BitBucket, Jenkins, Nexus, etc.
• 5+ years of experience migrating legacy workloads from on-premises to cloud-native technologies in regulated environments.
• Cloud solutions design and architecture experience is highly desirable.
• Collaborate with QatarEnergy cloud architecture team on design, implementation, and secure operation of cloud solutions.
• Strong communication skills to convey ideas and instructions clearly.
