Join our team! Berkeley education is recruiting CMA and accounting and finance Instructors.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Instruction includes hands-on and theory, classroom management, and financial tasks that may include reports, syllabus, and lesson plan development.
- Prepare and/or maintain the current CMA course syllabus for the course taught.
- Ensure that course is taught in accordance with the established syllabus.
- Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course.
- Supervision of students.
Certification as a CERTIFIED MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT and number of teaching experience in Accounting and finance and CMA. Current certification as a CMA through the ima - usa is required.
The skills required:
- Professionally qualified to CMA or CIMA standard or equivalent.
- Excellent technical knowledge in the field of management accounting and financial accounting and compliance regulation, an ability to grasp changes and have the required skill to translate knowledge into written and verbal practical guidance to meet the needs of CMA accountancy practitioners.
- The ability to undertake a high degree of research to stay abreast of the changing regulations.
- Excellent commercial awareness of the IMA accounting profession.
- A high degree of accountancy and teaching skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and above average competency with the English Language to take on complex writing assignments. Must be able to effectively liaise with clients, staff and external parties.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
