Job Profile
We are seeking a Commercial & Contracts Manager to lead the commercial and contractual operations of the division, ensuring profitability, minimizing risks, and maintaining compliance with company policies, local laws and market standards. The role involves overseeing contract/PO negotiations, supporting tender submissions, managing supplier agreements, purchase orders, managing principals’ agreements, and optimizing revenue through strategic planning and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, customers, and partners/principals to align with the trading company’s policies and mitigate risks.
- Oversee the preparation of tender documents, approve commercial terms (pricing estimation, terms and conditions…etc) and manage submissions in coordination with sales and technical teams.
- Oversee all purchase requirements (internal/external), supply chain, inventory movement and control provisions (stock).
- Identify potential risks in contracts, tenders, and agreements, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with CMD for receivables (including Bad Debts) and necessary approvals covering all business sections of E&IM Group.
- Manage contract disputes, claims, and resolution processes efficiently
- Monitor and assess supplier performance to ensure adherence to contract terms and delivery schedules.
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial and contractual processes, such as digitization or automation of contract workflows.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, applicable trade laws, and company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with Legal and other inter-company entities to ensure all necessary approvals are obtained.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 7+ years of proven experience in commercial contract management,
- Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, lifecycle management, and ensuring compliance with Business Laws, Local Laws, and industry standards.
- Handling complex contracts in industries such as HVAC, Electrical, energy, trading, or projects.
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding of the trading industry, including supplier agreements, tenders, and procurement processes.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to address contractual risks, opportunities, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and prioritize deadlines effectively.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 15–20 years’ experience in contract/commercial management within construction, engineering, or oil & gas sectors, out of which 7+ Years of Managerial experience.
- Proven track record in tender review, contract negotiation, and claims management .
- Experience working in the Middle East/GCC region is an advantage.
- Candidates with GCC experience would only be considered, hence experience in GCC is must, Experience in Qatar Market is plus,
- Procurement, tendering, contract management, and commercial roles.
- Preferably within manpower services, staffing, or recruitment sectors.
