Job DescriptionSika is embarking on the construction of a new plant and the consolidation of its existing sites in Qatar. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead, coordinate, and oversee the full cycle of these strategic projects. The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of industrial construction, and proven project management experience to ensure timely, cost-efficient, and safe delivery in line with Sika’s global standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership & Planning
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of the new plant construction and site consolidation projects.
- Develop and manage detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (local, regional, and global teams) and external partners (consultants, contractors, suppliers).
- Execution & Supervision
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, Sika standards, local regulations, and HSE requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews, addressing deviations, risks, and bottlenecks.
- Manage contractors and subcontractors, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule commitments are met.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, including authorities, consultants, and vendors.
- Report regularly on progress, risks, and financials to senior management.
- Ensure alignment of project objectives with business needs and operational requirements.
- Governance, Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all construction and consolidation activities follow Qatar’s regulatory requirements, Sika’s internal standards, and best practices.
- Drive a strong culture of safety and sustainability throughout project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing industrial construction projects, preferably in chemical, building materials, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is an asset).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-dollar projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Experience working in GCC/Qatar projects with knowledge of local regulations, standards, and permitting processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong command of English; Arabic is an advantage

Site Construction Superintendent
Your main duties will be to:-
Activities in several technical disciplines: Earthworks, civil engineering, building, piping, structure, electrical, instrumentation, scaffolding, cleaning,. - Focal point for FO/PJC/RFM in charge of all work packages and disciplines under his perimeter, - Ability to work under SIMOPS work conditions with respect of TE reference. - Follow up and ensure the selected Contractor’s to carry out works in their premises in prefabrication and under construction on the Sites - Ensure the operational management of the Works Contract, logistics, setting up the site, interface with the Operator. - Prepare, plan and coordinate operations in several disciplines in line with site manager and RFM manager. - Ensure the Construction Engineering on behalf of the Client, check that carried out by the Contractor, with the constant concern for compliance with the Project Budget and Schedule. - Ensure the proper execution of the works in compliance with safety and environmental protection procedures, technical specifications, budgets, and schedules, - Optimize and follow up the work schedules, to do this check the good organization of the logistics and the Contractor's site, - Ensure good coordination / interface between the Site (the Contractor and the Operator) and the Construction Manager, the various entities involved in the project (the Inspection, Maintenance, Production, Drilling and wells, Logistics departments, the Commissioning team, the organizations officials for the events, etc.), - Check the procedures and task sheets of the Companies, participate, or control the risk analyses, help in the preparation / check the work permits, - Check the technical information provided by the Contractor and its consistency, - Anticipate supplies for the smooth running of the site. Profile Ideally you will have graduated with Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction field with a minimum experience of10-15 years of experience in the oil industry, with significant experience in Construction.
Previous experience under SIMOPS works will be considered as a plus. Team player with ability to work collaboratively across complex project teams and interface between interdisciplinary departments and within an international team.
You are Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities- To supervise the EPIC Contractors during the execution of construction activities at construction site.
- Participate in reviewing detailed design drawings, method statements, material requisitions, and etc
- Co-ordinate mobilization of contractors on site.
- Supervise and approve construction activities and co-ordinate various aspects of project construction including inspections, material submissions and working drawings from contractors, and processing documentation as required.
- Carryout daily checks on contractor’s staff and work carried out during the previous day to ensure compliance with prescribed contractual specifications.
- Handle all aspects of Mechanical Construction activities including site investigations, site surveys etc.
- Supervise installation of Fire Electric/Diesel Pumps and Jockey pumps.
- Supervise installation of deluge system piping works and underground firefighting piping works.
- Supervise installation of Fire water tanks.
- Good knowledge in Deluge and Sprinkler System.
