Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s qualification with relevant Architectural degree. PMI or APM certification is desirable.
• Proven experience of which 8 years must be working on Medium to Large Scale Projects.
• RIBA/AIA Licensed Architect would be preferred. MMUP Registration is ideal and LEED or GSAS credentials is an advantage.
• Extensive experience from concept through to construction, across a range of project types including residential, commercial, hospitality, medical, leisure, education and high-rise developments. Previous site experience would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of QCS and NFPA would be preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, 3D rendering software utilizing a Revit or Sketchup/Rhino is a requirement.
• Middle East experience and working knowledge of design and construction practices specific to this region.

Senior Architect

to join our team! In this role, you will oversee and manage architectural activities on-site, ensuring that construction works align with design intent, project specifications, and quality standards. You will play a critical role in coordinating with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of architectural elements for large-scale infrastructure projects. What You'll Be Doing: Oversee and manage all architectural activities on-site, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and project requirements. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure alignment with design intent, quality standards, and project timelines. Review and approve architectural shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements submitted by contractors. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to resolve design-related issues and ensure seamless project execution. Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team on architectural matters, including finishes, materials, and detailing. Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and international standards in all architectural works. Prepare and maintain accurate records of site activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and progress updates. Identify and address potential design conflicts or construction challenges, recommending solutions to maintain project timelines and quality. Assist in the preparation of handover documentation, including as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure that architectural works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices on-site. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design and site supervision, with a proven track record of working on large-scale infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and materials. Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings. Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and international standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and engage with stakeholders. Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools. Must be MME certified. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience working on projects in Qatar or the GCC region. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to address complex architectural challenges.
