JOB PURPOSE:
To work with the Caravane Earth Foundation team to achieve the organization’s overall vision, leading the delivery of residencies and public programs. This includes supporting artistic research and development through structured curatorial and professional activities, managing residencies end-to-end, and initiating public programs in collaboration with colleagues and residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop CE Foundation’s curatorial themes and shape public program activities involving residents and related themes.
- Manage and oversee the selection process for the residency program, ensuring targeted outreach for open calls and nominations.
- Support the exhibition with Qatar Museums.
- Create a digital and offline archive of traditional patterns.
- Communicate with residents in advance to plan and discuss residency goals.
- Supervise restoration, construction, and interior issues, working with an art director rather than choosing an architect.
- Explore farm and residency opportunities, assess previous work, future needs, budget, and staffing requirements.
- Organize presentations, field trips, studio visits, workshops, etc., for residents.
- Build and maintain relationships with Residency Partners, keeping them informed about selection and residency processes.
- Ensure excellent hospitality and visitor engagement at the foundation.
- Represent the foundation externally at events and with partners.
- Support proposals and funding applications.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director and Head of Creative Residency to develop institutional and funding partnerships.
- Maintain compliance with internal and statutory policies, including record-keeping.

Skills & Education:
- Undergraduate qualification in art, curatorial studies, or relevant field.
- 5+ years in a senior management role, preferably with program management experience.
