Presales Consultant - Cloud & Cybersecurity is responsible for overlooking the entire Presales cycle in alignment with the Vendors. Primary responsibility is to support our sales team in driving revenue by providing expert consultation, technical solutions, and strategic guidance in the domains of cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and cybersecurity solutions. This role is critical in translating customer business needs into competitive technical solutions, supporting customer engagements, and contributing to business growth.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose tailored cloud and cybersecurity solutions.
- Lead technical discussions, solution design workshops, and presentations with customers and partners.
- Create high-quality proposals, solution architecture documents, BoMs, SoWs, and RFP/RFI responses.
- Perform competitive analysis and articulate value propositions of proposed solutions.
- Deliver technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and pilot implementations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on cloud migration, security posture improvement, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Address technical queries and objections, providing expert consultation pre- and post-sales.
- Maintain deep knowledge of public and hybrid cloud platforms (e.g., Huawei, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and cybersecurity technologies (SIEM, XDR, EDR, IAM, Zero Trust, PAM, DLP, etc.).
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO, GDPR), and emerging threats.
- Provide enablement and training for internal sales teams and channel partners.
- Work closely with vendors, and their engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility and delivery alignment.
- Build strong relationships with OEMs, Channel partners, and technology partners.
- Prepare and present regular reports on pre-sales activities, POCs, and pipeline status.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience working with Vendors, MSPs, or system integrators.
- Exposure to DevSecOps, SASE, cloud-native security, or compliance frameworks.
- 3-8 years of experience in a similar presales or solution architect role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cybersecurity solutions (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Cisco, Sophos).
