About The Role

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis of consumer behavior, brand business intelligence, business performance, and KPIs evaluation across all functions including retail, store, vendor profitability, inventory, and warehouse. This role ensures management receives timely data analysis for decision-making. The analyst maintains databases and BI tools in coordination with IT, and manages daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales and promotion reports/dashboard. They work on AX Dynamic (R3 Reporting) and Power BI projects during the transfer stage, assisting in restructuring, mapping, generating, maintaining, and analyzing new R3 analytics reports.

Key Accountabilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  1. Deploy, generate, and analyze Power BI reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly dashboards, providing a comprehensive assessment of KPIs against budgets, trends, traffic, and inventory to support business decisions.
  2. Communicate regularly with relevant business owners and end-users (Category Managers, Operational Managers, Marketing, etc.) to understand reporting needs and modify existing reports as necessary.
  3. Coordinate with IT for reporting development to ensure alignment with BI reporting and analytical structures.
  4. Conduct gap analysis and root cause assessments to identify factors impacting sales trends and fluctuations, providing feedback and recommendations to management.
  5. Perform analysis on consumer behavior, customer profiles, store and brand performance, mystery shopper programs, and market surveys to identify opportunities and propose relevant business strategies.
  6. Evaluate marketing promotional activities, compare sales outcomes against targets and KPIs, and highlight key findings with recommendations for improvement.
  7. Troubleshoot Power BI reporting issues in collaboration with IT, ensuring accuracy and reliability of reports.
  8. Support strategic planning by providing accurate data and analysis to improve future projections and business planning.
