We are looking for a Business Intelligence / Analytics Solutions Architect who can blend technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to design and implement end-to-end BI and analytics solutions.

Role Overview

As a BI / Analytics Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering data analytics architectures, dashboards, and insights platforms that help businesses make informed, data-driven decisions. You will work closely with business leaders, data engineers, and domain experts to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions using modern BI tools and cloud platforms.

This role requires a balance of technical depth, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement to ensure solutions are not only technically sound but also aligned with business goals and industry KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Architect end-to-end BI & analytics solutions leveraging Microsoft Power BI, Databricks, and Azure Data Services.
  • Design scalable data pipelines, data models, and reporting layers.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across analytics platforms.

Business Intelligence & Visualization

  • Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI (primary) and Tableau.
  • Apply UI/UX best practices to create intuitive, user-centric dashboards.
  • Deliver actionable insights by defining and tracking KPIs that align with business objectives.

Data Management & Integration

  • Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data from relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL systems (MongoDB, etc.).
  • Implement ETL/ELT workflows with tools such as Azure Data Factory or Apache Airflow.
  • Support automation through scripting (Python, SQL, PowerShell).

Analytics & Insights

  • Perform exploratory data analysis, forecasting, and hypothesis testing.
  • Leverage predictive analytics and machine learning models (with Databricks, Python, Scikit-learn) at a foundational level.
  • Work with domain experts to contextualize insights for industries such as Supply Chain, Finance, Healthcare, Retail, and Sustainability.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Translate business problems into technical analytics solutions.
  • Present findings clearly through data storytelling and visualization for executives and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5-8 years' experience in BI, Data Analytics, or Data Architecture roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (preferred) and Tableau.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
  • Experience with data modelling, data warehouses (Azure Synapse), and ETL workflows.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align data solutions with organizational goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred / Good to Have

  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Engineer, Databricks Certified Professional, or Tableau Certified.

The Strategy & Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting the development, monitoring, and updating of MCQ's mid- and long-term strategic direction. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Strategy Revision & Monitoring

  • Collaborate with leadership to help define, refine, and update MCQ's mid- and long-term strategy and key initiatives
  • Ensure that MCQs strategic initiatives are consistently aligned with organizational mission, strategy and objectives, working closely with relevant teams to adapt plans as necessary
  • Communicate MCQs strategic direction, goals, and progress to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across all levels of the organization

Data Analytics & Market Research

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data to provide actionable insights.
  • Utilize statistical tools and techniques to identify trends and patterns in data.
  • Perform in-depth research to monitor media trends, competitor strategies (regionally and internationally), and sector-enabling programs relevant to media sector development
  • Analyze activities of other media regulators, sector-specific programs, and current and potential future licensees' requirements to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for growth
  • Prepare detailed market analysis and reports to support the development of the annual business plan, identifying trends, opportunities, and challenges that may affect strategic decisions

Reporting

Minimum Qualifications:

Education
