Supervise and execute projects in accordance with the assigned design - interact with Consultants, Contractors, Companies, in the field of protection related to EHV Transmission projects. He shall have core competence in various protection schemes and shall be familiar with all types of protection relays specifically static and numerical relays of all manufacturers for various voltage levels.

Review of CT sizing calculation, logic diagrams, Protection schematics and similar as submitted for approval by the Contractor and give comments as required to fulfill Kahramaa requirements.
Shall have a wide experience in Relay setting calculation for all types of protection relays specifically static and numerical relays of all manufacturers for various voltage levels. Review the protection documents for relay setting calculation and similar using standard relay setting software.
Troubleshooting and analyzing spurious/inadvertent/unintentional trips/faults occurring in the power systems during and after energization of the substation and make suitable recommendations for proper functioning of the Protection systems.
Plan, make program and implement the Proactive actions to be taken to avoid malfunctions and false tripping. Diagnose/configure/reconfigure/modify the existing configuration as per the requirement.
Education: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (with Power Systems and Protection as the core subject).
Work Experience: 8 years experience in Transmission Electricity Projects involving EHV substations, cables, OHL Lines etc. or in Power project construction, commission and execution.
Other requirements:
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
