Role Overview

The Application Specialist – SharePoint, Microsoft 365 & DevOps will serve as a techno-functional expert responsible for the development, customization, integration, and governance of enterprise applications. The role requires hands-on expertise in SharePoint, Microsoft , Azure, Dynamics 365, SAP/ERP integrations, and DevOps practices. The specialist will ensure that applications are secure, scalable, compliant, and fully integrated with both internal and customer systems, while supporting fast-paced delivery across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Administration

· Configure, administer, and maintain SharePoint Online/2019 and Microsoft 365 applications.

· Develop workflows, forms, and custom solutions to meet user requirements.

· Perform migrations (SharePoint to Office and backend administration.

· Customize SharePoint features, web parts, and integrations for business and client applications.

Client-Side Development & Integration

· Develop custom solutions using APIs, SPIs, PowerApps, Power Automate, and scripting (JavaScript, PowerShell, .NET).

· Integrate Microsoft platforms with SAP ERP, CRM, and Dynamics 365.

· Support cross-application interoperability across internal and customer-facing systems.

· Build middleware and connectors for real-time data exchange.

DevOps & Automation

· Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for SharePoint and integrated applications.

· Automate deployments, configuration management, and monitoring.

· Apply DevOps best practices for application reliability, scalability, and security.

· Collaborate with IT/development teams for infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Governance, Security & Compliance

· Define and enforce governance policies across SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and integrated systems.

· Ensure compliance with data privacy, retention, and regulatory requirements.

· Manage security roles, access controls, and permissions.

· Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to compliance and security frameworks.

Techno-Functional Consulting & Collaboration

· Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams.

· Provide product expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, and SharePoint.

· Work with multiple teams to deliver solutions quickly and effectively.

· Train and support end-users to maximize adoption and usage of applications.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

· Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint (Online/2019), Microsoft , and Azure.

· Proven experience in DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, containerization).

· Proficiency in client-side development (JavaScript, REST APIs, SPIs, PowerApps, Power Automate, .NET, PowerShell).

· Experience with ERP/CRM integrations (SAP, Dynamics 365, or similar).

· Strong knowledge of governance, compliance, and data security in Microsoft environments.

Role Summary

Aubay UK is seeking a highly skilled Front Office Engineer to support the continuous optimisation of LNG trading operations and ensure world-class efficiency, compliance, and agility across its front-to-back trading processes.

This role will work across departments—including trading, shipping, risk, operations, finance, and IT—to assess, enhance, and align business processes, expanding global LNG portfolios and digital transformation initiatives.
