About the role

To support the Line Manager in the development of new DQ (Discover Qatar) products, focusing predominantly on the development of DQ owned (created) products. Take responsibility for all aspects of product design, pricing and commercialization including staff training, SOPs (with operations team) and enhancements.

Key Accountabilities include:

Operational

  • Support the Line Manager and give output and new innovative ideas to develop excursion and tour packages in and around Qatar.
  • Identify and create products and services which match the marketing strategy, target customer groups and the requirements from the key markets of Qatar Airways network.
  • Review current products by analyzing and making recommendations based on current needs and future requirements, by reviewing product specifications, requirements and appraising new product ideas and/or product or changes.
  • Develop, execute, and manage project plans for the development of new tours and excursions in a timely and cost efficient manner. Inspect and take stock of all tourist related sites, monuments, museums, and other attractions. Monitor customer and consultant feedback on the tours and service. Ensure correct loading and content is hosted within the DO systems.
  • Develops DQ product portfolio addressing the customer and new channel needs in line with the unit's business plan. Manages project budgets, prepares financial analysis reports for higher management review.
  • Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing and anticipating product cost.
  • Provide evaluation in the expertise of:
    • Key development of projects by providing feedback / suggestions / advice on design and module changes with consultations between team members and stakeholders.
  • Testing products and services, measuring the levels of acceptance and success rates with stringent quality control.
  • Initiate a process of continuous improvement to ensure that products are continuously refreshed and improved to better meet customer need and that DQ products are in line with market trends.
  • Inspect competitors' products by researching and overseeing product development based on industry best practice.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed bv the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

About you

Qualifications:

  • Minimum qualification of bachelor's degree or equivalent is essential
  • 7+ years of job-related experience.
  • Product development, negotiation and contracting experience at a managerial level in large wholesale tour operations with successful track record in delivering wholesale tour programs.
  • Excellent negotiation and contracting skills.
  • Excellent understanding of all aspects of international tour operations.
  • Comprehensive regional/ product knowledge of Qatar and GCC in particular.
  • Sound understanding of margins and profits for a wholesale tour operation.
  • High degree of computer literacy.
  • An understanding of the international Tour Operator model, including online distribution.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.

You will support the SVP of Product Development in creating visually compelling, execution-ready presentations for leadership, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders. A strong grasp of layout, storytelling, and visual hierarchy, along with fluency in design tools, is required to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visual narratives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop high-impact presentations for strategic and leadership reviews and executive updates. Translate abstract concepts and customer experience and product strategies into clear, visually engaging slides. Ensure consistency in visual language, formatting, and brand alignment across all decks. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other team members to prepare presentation materials explaining project highlights, design decisions, and implementation plans. Create annotated visuals, mockup walkthroughs, and visual frameworks that support product delivery and align with company standards. Use presentation and design tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Figma) to extract, adapt, or create visuals that enhance clarity and storytelling. Apply design principles to organize content, establish visual hierarchy, and guide audience attention with custom iconography, charts, and diagrams. Maintain a high standard of visual polish suitable for executive and cross-functional audiences. Work with raw content to shape clear, structured narratives supporting the SVP in framing key messages and aligning visual content with strategic goals. Partner with internal stakeholders from strategy, research and insights, product and portfolio owners, and operational teams to gather inputs and align messaging. Manage multiple presentation projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines, ensuring on-time delivery. Perform other department duties related to the position as directed by the Head of the Department. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 5+ years of experience in visual communications, presentation design, or a related field. Strong portfolio of executive and/or product-related presentation work. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides. Intermediate to advanced skills in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. Excellent visual layout, formatting, and storytelling skills. Ability to understand product and design workflows and translate them into clear visuals. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
