Position Overview:
The Document Controller will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining the company’s documents, both physical and digital. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of ensuring that all company documentation is accurate, easily accessible, and compliant with company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize, manage, and control all incoming and outgoing documentation, including contracts, reports, technical documents, and other company files
Ensure all documents are properly filed and easily retrievable in both physical and digital formats
Maintain a document control system and ensure consistency across all project documents
Review and verify documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company and legal requirements
Provide document control support for ongoing and completed projects

Proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar administrative role
Strong organizational skills with an excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in document control software and systems (e.g., Procore, Aconex, SharePoint, etc.)
Excellent knowledge of document management procedures and best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Good understanding of document control processes in a project-based environment (real estate, construction, engineering, etc.)
