**About this role**
- Ensure that the Contractor’s electrical engineering for the Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope), and the Offshore Electrical Power System designs comply with the Contract requirements including codes and standards; Provide guidance to the contractor to promote compliance;
- Plan and schedule the electrical engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with Company operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system;
- Supervises and ensures that the Contractor’s electrical Safety Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) Engineering designs comply with the Contract requirements including codes and standards; Provide guidance to the contractor to promote compliance;
- Participate to key design workshop and ensure that electrical Safety design recommendation are correctly implemented and actions closed before the end of EPCI (Lessons Learned, Value Engineering, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, engineering criticality assessment, etc;);
- Supervises the Engineering electrical interfaces for the Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) and Offshore power loop and the following teams: Operations, Drilling, Well Management, the Jacket, the pipelines from the topsides perspective, the Onshore Project Team;
- Manage the Composite cable purchase order with the EPC Contractor and System Vendor in accordance with the roles and responsibilities given in the contract to ensure safe and seamless integration of the systems without any disturbance to the existing operating facilities;
- Supports Offshore Engineering Manager in monitoring the contractor’s progress on delivery of the required documents in the Electrical discipline both for the Topsides and Pipeline Scopes;
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts with respect the disciplines involved in delivery of the electrical items related to Topsides and Pipelines Engineering,and ensures endorsement of Technical deviations to Company specifications when required;
- Ensure compliance with management of change procedures for changes in the contractors design or deviations from the company directives.

**What you need to bring**
- 10 years’ of relevant experience as Electrical Lead, in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations;
- Previous knowledge of Brownfield engineering and execution required;
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. (Advanced degree is desirable.).

- Review and analyze preliminary, interim, find project plans and specifications for technical efficiency and adequacy.
- Review and provide general monitoring on Host Nation funded project development work for new construction, renovation, and improvement projects for real property facilities, including utility systems, according to all laws, codes, guidelines, and criteria as required. - Monitor and report on projects for new construction, renovations, and improvements to real property facilities and infrastructure utilizing a professional knowledge of engineering. Projects include work on roads, drainage systems, utility systems, installation utility plants, airfield runways, maintenance shops/hangars, recreation facilities, administrative offices, dormitories, etc.
- Review as-built drawings at the end of construction.
- Monitor and report new projects for construction, renovations, and improvements to real property facilities from start to finish, including utility systems, utilizing a professional knowledge of civil/structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering with no more than two (2) missed inspections, pre-construction surveys, surveys, or reviews per month.
- Obtained documented Host Nation surveillance and verify overall compliance with AFCENT TSG on contracted specifications, schedules, approved drawings, and statement of work.
- Monitor and report on assigned projects and review specifications and schedules.
- Verify construction for design compliance and assist with resolution of differences between the U.S. and Host Nation building code.
- Efficiently use computers/computer software including Microsoft Office, computer aided design and drafting (CADD) programs (AutoCAD), and project tracking programs (Microsoft Project), GIS, and other engineering calculation software packages to solve engineering problems and facilitate work as needed.
- Advise HN construction regarding installation development, and/or O&M functions to ensure that the U.S. requirement is met. The Contractor shall monitor construction projects for new construction, renovations, and improvements to real property facilities from start to finish, including the performance of preconstruction site surveys all the way to completion of as-built drawings.
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures and perform work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment. Ensure federal and local codes concerning health, safety, and environment to include DoD, Air Force engineering design guidance and standards such as UFC, AFIs (Series 32), Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) laws, codes, guidelines, criteria, and standards in the design and construction of real property facilities.

**About this role**
- Accountable for ensuring execution of work is technically aligned and in compliance with Company Operations, Policies, Standards of Business Conduct and Company Project Management System (COMPANYPMS).

- Develop, update and amend design / project philosophies, specifications and procedures ensuring that all references to Mechanical Engineering are current and relevant.
- Monitor and provide guidance to EPC Contractor to ensure key discipline deliverables, progress/milestones are met. Recommend additional technical support where necessary to address gaps.
- Coordinate and analyse discipline issues for resolution. Provide Mechanical Engineering input to other engineering disciplines, construction, procurement etc as necessary. Support commissioning, start-up and system completing activities and make appropriate recommendations to management on Mechanical matters.
- Plan and schedule Mechanical Engineering deliverables to enable efficient execution in meeting project milestones/schedule
- Leads Mechanical interface coordination with offshore, RLIC, or any third party, as required, during the ITT and EPC phases.
