Job Purpose: Roles in this level have responsibility for planning, prioritizing, executing, and monitoring of Pre-Projects in an efficient and systematic manner and according to the Company's procedures and specifications and to the Company's goals and objectives. As a part of Pre-project work, they have the responsibility in analysing the problems, carrying out root cause analysis & engineering calculations to arrive at the optimum techno-economic solution and generate the deliverables to the required quality for execution of Project. They have a prime role in coordinating with multiple trades and customers to ensure smooth-running of projects. They compile and provide input to the periodic reports within their area of work. They assist their superiors in cost control.
The role holder must ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with the Company's Health, Safety and Environment procedures.
Key Accountabilities- Plan work activities, lead various Pre-project teams and liaison with all the stakeholders to ensure execution of assigned project activities to meet set objectives and overcome challenges.
- Carrying out engineering work for Pre-Projects including root cause analysis, engineering calculations using software, as per codes and standards. Producing engineering deliverables, carrying out required safety & environmental studies to facilitate smooth execution of the Projects.
- Ensure delivery of Pre-project work with the optimal technical solution and deliverables to the required quality within the set time schedule & cost following Project Execution Guidelines and in compliance with The Company's Engineering Specifications & Procedures.
- Develop and maintain/update Specifications/standards on engineering practice within the trades, including incorporation of lessons learnt.
- Keep informed of technological developments in the area of responsibility in order to update knowledge, identify and recommend opportunities for increased effectiveness and/or cost reduction.
- Provide technical support to Operations Division, as per the requirement, meeting the required quality of work & schedule.
- Support in training of new and/or trainee Engineers to ensure that they are equipped with the necessary skills to independently perform their tasks. Exchange knowledge with colleague Engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years direct and relevant experience working within the Fertilizer, Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Industry.
- Understand the codes and standards for electrical engineering in oil and gas facilities.
- Know earthing, cathodic and lightning protection systems; know contract provisions, stipulations and electrical code requirements; inspect and commission electrical installations.
- Know engineering management principles and practices, safer design and safe and reliable operation of facilities and assets; reduce risk to personnel, assets and the environment.
- Know how to organize and lead a project management team for the implementation of a project; plan the optimum sequence of activities based on criteria such as resource availability and budget; project gatekeeping process; prepare, communicate and update gatekeeping project plans.
- Exposure effectively win bids by compiling technical requirements of proposals, generating project estimates and submitting required bid documentation timely in accordance with RFP specifications.

Job Description
The successful candidate should demonstrate strong technical expertise and enthusiasm for providing hands-on instruction and support to students in electrical and electronics engineering laboratories. The candidate will be responsible for guiding students through experimental design, setup, analysis, and troubleshooting while ensuring the safe and efficient use of laboratory hardware and software. Furthermore, they are expected to contribute to laboratory development, equipment management, and to uphold the department’s commitment to excellence in teaching and service while fostering an inclusive and collaborative academic environment. Responsibilities
Collaborate with faculty members to prepare and deliver lectures, workshops, and lab sessions on key electrical and electronics engineering topics, with a focus on practical applications and hands-on instruction. Provide direct assistance to students during lab sessions, guiding them through experimental design, setup, implementation, and the use of simulation tools such as Multisim, Proteus, PSpice, MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, PowerWorld, TIA Portal, or similar platforms. Supervise students during laboratory sessions to ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices while working with laboratory equipment and instruments such as oscilloscopes, function generators, power analyzers, and machine test benches. Assist students in designing course projects and senior projects by providing technical guidance, prototyping support, and troubleshooting assistance. Assist in the setup of the lab (before sessions), calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure the smooth operation of experiments and practical sessions. Contribute to the development of lab manuals, assignments, and assessments that incorporate practical exercises. Assist in grading lab reports, assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to help students enhance their technical skills and conceptual understanding. Maintain inventory records of lab hardware, consumables, and spare parts. Assist in material acquisition planning, budgeting, and procurement of consumables, new laboratory equipment, and software licenses. Assist with departmental accreditation requirements by maintaining proper documentation of experiments, equipment usage, and student learning outcomes. Assist the department in setting up lab demonstrations, seminars, workshops, senior project exhibitions, career fairs, or any related activities. Stay updated on recent advancements in electrical engineering, including emerging trends in smart grids, IOT, industrial automation, and sustainable energy technologies. Support departmental committees and initiatives, contributing to equipment planning and the selection of appropriate lab tools and teaching technologies. Qualifications & Required Skills
