To be eligible for this role you should have basic literacy, Numeracy skills, English communication skills with a minimum 3 years of job-related experience OR High School Qualification (e.g. O level, Year 10, min compulsory education) with minimum 2 years of job-related experience and hold a valid Qatari Driving License and AVOP.
You should be able to speak and understand English Language; have Workshop, Ramp and Fire Safety Awareness; have basic qualifications or experience in vehicle maintenance and be familiar with all types of ground support equipment

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of design engineers / designer’s in the development of design packages for pipeline / flowline designs for onshore projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met within the specified scope, schedule, and budget.
- Oversee and guide the design of pipeline and flowline systems, including hydraulic calculations, material selection, route optimization, structural integrity, and system compatibility.
- Ensure designs adhere to local, national, and international regulations, including safety standards, environmental requirements, and industry codes (e.g., ASME, API, etc.).
- Ensure that designs meet quality standards, and that all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and delivered on time.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project expectations and address design concerns.
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and construction of pipelines and flowlines within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is must.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of GCC experience.
- Deep understanding of pipeline design, flowline systems, and related infrastructure., Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
- Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, PDS, PDMS, Caesar II, or similar tools.
- Experience in hydraulic analysis, stress analysis, and material selection for pipeline design.

In this role, you will oversee rail systems and infrastructure design activities, monitor subcontractors, and ensure quality and compliance. The position is based in Doha, Qatar, offering exciting challenges and career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in concept design, engineering, and feasibility studies for railway and road connections.
- Design and deliver railway infrastructure projects focusing on safety, reliability, and industry standards.
- Plan, design, and develop railway systems ensuring safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Work on track design, stations, signaling, and related infrastructure for passenger and freight rail.
- Develop detailed designs for tracks, bridges, tunnels, stations, including alignments and drainage.
- Integrate signaling and communication systems into railway designs.
- Supervise design activities, review subcontractor deliverables, and ensure quality control.
- Review design and engineering reports, procedures, and programs for operational and maintenance considerations.
- Identify issues and opportunities for improvement during design activities.
- Perform structural and geotechnical analyses for safety and durability.
- Assess and mitigate risks related to vibration, track stability, and environmental impact.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Railway Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in railway design engineering, with hands-on project experience.
- Experience in concept design, feasibility studies, and master planning for railway and road projects.
- Membership in relevant professional institutions and licensure preferred.
- 1-4 years’ experience in GCC locations preferred.
- Knowledge of railway design standards (e.g., EN 13848, UIC, BS EN 50126).
- Fluent in Arabic and English; excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, SharePoint, and railway design software (e.g., Bentley Rail Track, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
- Valid driving license required.
