Job Description
- Develop the Annual Wellwork Plan interacting with the company's stakeholders and service companies. Continuously monitor the progress of wellwork and change/modify the wellwork plan, if needed, with the concurrence of the company's stakeholders. Coordinate with onshore and offshore operations, maintenance project teams, drilling and completions, petroleum engineering, SEQ, warehouse and other disciplines to maximize well utilization, minimize well downtime, efficient planning for execution of wellwork activities.
- Prepare for all rigless wellwork operations in the company's wells to ensure all resources are available to implement the Annual Wellwork Plan in a safe and efficient manner. Develop technologically complex rigless wellwork ensuring safety of company specialists and contractor personnel exposed to hazardous toxic gas.
- Conduct pre-job meeting with the company's stakeholders, contractors and service companies to ensure resource availability to implement rigless well work operations as per Annual Wellwork Plan. Identify the feedback from post job review meetings and implement the findings in future wellwork and processes.
- Coordinate with the company's Supply Department for initiating wellwork contracts to ensure all wellwork services contracts are timely available to implement rigless Annual Wellwork Plan.
- Establish post-award contracts processes including instruction to proceed, Contractor Performance Evaluation, and release of Performance Guarantee. Examine contractor invoices, monitor expenditure of service contracts to ensure cost control of contracts.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Natural Gas, Mechanical)
- 8 years experience in wellwork operations in the oil and gas industry, including at least 5 years experience in rigless wellwork operations either onshore or offshore wells
- Wellwork experience in high pressure, high temperature, and toxic gas wells in offshore environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of the following well engineering disciplines: Wellhead, Tree & Surface Equipment, Subsurface Equipment, Cased hole, and Production Logging, Well and Tubular design, Rigless wellwork equipment including Pressure Control Equipment, Well Barrier requirement.
- Knowledge of software applications related to subsurface data acquisitions (Well View, Emraude, Saphir)
- Familiar with Well Integrity Management: Sustained Casing Pressure Management, Wellhead/X-mas Tree and Down Hole Safety Valve Testing & Maintenance.

Job Purpose
Implement the upstream integrated gas volume and activities plan (UGP/IAP), review gas production, water injection plans and surveillance ensuring uninterrupted feed-gas delivery from wells and reservoirs to LNG trains. Support production enhancement, development studies, plans and projects to meet company targets in the most cost-effective manner.
Reporting and Relationships
Reports to Section Head of Production Engineering.
Internal
Daily contact with Subsurface, Onshore & Offshore Operations, Major Projects and Commercial Planning departments.
External

Key Job Accountabilities
1. Implement Integrated Activity and Gas Volume Plans as per UGP process cycles and sequences, and align with stakeholders all well test and injection programs in coordination with operations.
2. Review production guidelines and provide scenarios to optimize gas and condensate from the company wells and review non-routine or unplanned events requiring the management of special parameters (H2S/Water/Condensate/Casing Pressure).
3. Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen production shortages and downtime and ensure production availability from offshore in advance to satisfy the LNG requirements and mitigate the short falls.
4. Develop key monitoring parameters, boundaries and coordinate integration of all well production data and parameters at offshore and onshore facilities and monitor performance of production system from reservoir to facilities. Recommend additional well data acquisitions to investigate production performance problems.
5. Coordinate and review Well Performance and System Network Performance models and ensure performance as per the operating boundaries set by company standards. Confirm accuracy of the measurement and metering electronics and transmitters.
6. Review PLT interpretations to enhance and use production profiling for better understanding and decision making and analyze onshore wastewater injection wells and its associated facilities for uninterrupted water injection. Implement injection guidelines and quality requirements on a continual basis.
7. Coordinate stimulation design strategy development and identification of various options and coordinate testing and cleanup of wells post stimulation and any change management actions. Review and finalize well testing reports for new wells and re-completions.
8. Develop assessment criteria for stimulation effectiveness rig based flow back or PLT data and recommend criteria for well performance of producing wells and recommend remedial actions.
9. Develop criteria and checklist for production performance of Well, Platform, and Asset for development and re-development projects. Support WIS and WEP development for re-completions and development wells with stimulation and well clean up input.
10. Review and approve well production volume back allocation based on well test and reservoir engineering inputs related to reservoir allocation and Production Logging (PL) interpretation. Complete monthly and annual reconciliations at all fiscal meter level until feed gas to the LNG plant.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
8 years’ experience in Production Operations, Production Planning, Optimization in the Oil and/or Gas industry, including at least 2 years’
experience in production technology, Petroleum engineering applications and tools for production optimization, stimulation, PLT
and forecasting.
Knowledge and understanding of well modelling, well optimization techniques, reservoir depletion methods, well performance
evaluation methodologies, production planning and allocation.
Familiar with drilling, reservoir management, fluid sampling and analysis, well work and production operations/facilities.
Familiar with Production facilities/development, testing/metering equipment, flow assurance, pipeline management, project planning
