- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marine biology, environmental science, oceanography, ecology, environmental engineering or an equivalent field.
- Have 10 years of experience in marine environmental study operations, Environmental Impact Assessment, and witnessing / QA/QC, preferably in Qatar.
- Proven field experience in offshore geophysical data acquisition and QC experience, preferably in the Middle East and / or Qatar.
- Ability to perform production logging and reporting including acquisition logs, downtime, system faults, and resolution tracking; HSE observations and TBTs.
- Technical expertise in supervising and QAQC of sampling and analysis: grab samples, core samples for sediment profile analysis, water column sampling, plankton nets, benthic trawls.

- Familiar with lab analytical parameters such as heavy metals, hydrocarbons, TPH/PAH, grain size, TOC; chlorophyll, nutrients, DO, pH, salinity.
