We are a sub-subcontractor in the Oil & Gas sector, delivering construction and engineering services to major projects across Qatar. To support our SHES department, we are hiring an Environmental Supervisor to assist in implementing and monitoring environmental management programs on project sites.
Role Overview
The Environmental Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day compliance with environmental standards, assisting in audits, and supporting environmental awareness initiatives. The role requires hands-on supervision, strong understanding of environmental practices, and compliance with EPC-3 SHES Critical Position requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily environmental compliance activities at project sites.
- Ensure adherence to environmental management plans (EMP) and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and monitoring of waste, emissions, and resource usage.
- Report environmental issues and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
- Support Environmental Coordinator in preparing reports and documentation for clients/regulators.
- Conduct toolbox talks and awareness campaigns related to environmental protection.
- Liaise with project teams to ensure environmental considerations are integrated into operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent (mandatory as per EPC-3 SHES requirements).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in environmental roles within Oil & Gas projects (Qatar/GCC preferred).
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
- Strong communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and ensure strict compliance with client requirements.

The HSE Supervisor will oversee site-wide health, safety, and environmental compliance, ensuring all activities meet local and international standards. This role is critical to maintaining a safe work environment, conducting risk assessments, audits, and leading incident investigations while promoting a strong safety culture across the project.
-Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong safety presence through daily site inspections and field engagement.
