Role Description
This is a contract-based role located in the Doha Qatar for an Event Marketing Specialist. The Event Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing end-to-end events. Tasks include managing marketing and promotional activities, coordinating with vendors and partners, and ensuring excellent customer service during events.
This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

Experience Required: 4-5 years in end-to-end event management & marketing
Driving License: Required
Key Responsibilities
Event Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, with special focus on conferences, seminars, workshops, product launches, and corporate meetings
- Develop event concepts, themes, and agendas in collaboration with internal stakeholders & external customers/partners
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, transportation, and accommodation
- Oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure necessary services and materials
- Handle on-site event management, including set-up, registration, attendee assistance, and post-event teardown
- Conduct post-event evaluations to determine successes and areas for improvement
- Constant research on new vendors and use of innovative event management tools to understand the best use of the tool and where it fits.
Marketing
- Develop & implement marketing strategies to promote events, partners solutions and products and create strategies for brand awareness and brand recall
- Create and manage promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, newsletters, and social media content
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure marketing materials are visually appealing and aligned with brand guidelines
- Utilize digital marketing tools and platforms to reach target audiences effectively
- Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
- Working closely with internal teams like Pre-Sales, Finance & Sales to ensure the objective of the task/project is met
Operations
- Ensure seamless coordination between various internal departments to support event and marketing activities
- Ensure seamless coordination between external customers and partners to support event and marketing activities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to events, marketing initiatives, and operational processes
- Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor inventory levels of promotional materials and event supplies, managing restocking as necessary
- Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting related to events and marketing activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field
- 4-5 years of experience in end-to-end event management
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and marketing analytics
- Experience in budget management and financial reporting
- Valid driving license is required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
