Executive Chef vacancy in Al-Rayyan Qatar

Head Chef

As a Head Chef at our high-end Indian restaurant in Al-Rayyan, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring the quality and consistency of our menu offerings. Your role will involve creating new dishes and maintaining our current menu, managing inventory and ordering supplies, training and supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in Indian cuisine, with a deep understanding of flavor profiles and cooking techniques. You must also have strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month. English fluency is required for effective communication with our multinational team. While prior experience is preferred, we are also open to hiring talented individuals without previous experience who are willing to learn and grow in this role. This position does not come with accommodation, but we can provide assistance in finding suitable housing. What you will do:

  • Attend to customers by offering company products (watches), explaining benefits and features, and discussing prices to achieve strong sales performance.
  • Maintain and enhance the showroom with attractive watch displays.
  • Motivate potential customers to make purchases.
  • Maintain daily sales and stock registers, updating them regularly.
  • Assist in checking inventory levels and requesting replenishments.
  • At the end of each shift, check and hand over stock and cash to the sales in charge.
  • Assist with display changes and new ideas to refresh the shop's appearance.
  • Identify aging stock items for proper management.
Required Skills for Success:
  • Friendly, engaging personality, comfortable working with the public.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
  • Confident, helpful, polite, and physically fit.
  • Experience in stock replenishment.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma (Bachelor's preferred).
  • 3-4 years of experience in the watch industry.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals.
  • Good personality and communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Accountability and reliability.
