- Under general supervision, applies knowledge of Halliburton Cased Hole Wireline Technologies to independently provide basic services and tool operation to customers at the well site.
- Applies engineering, mechanical and geological principles to articulate basic data interpretations and mechanical constructs to clients from proprietary software and learns to coach clients through various drilling and completion scenarios.
- Actively participates in the training and development of operators and Associate Field Professionals on all aspects of job.
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science or other technical discipline is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cased Hole Wireline field operations required.

Field Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for monitoring civil engineering activities at the project site, witnessing quality assurance procedures as per the PMP, and monitoring project progress in accordance with the approved work program, QCS, and enabling QPM to deliver a quality project within plan and budget.

  • Architect and integrate popular open source software such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Cassandra and NGINX
  • Help partners to offer and architect joint solutions utilizing Canonical's technologies on top of the public clouds and in the data center
  • Design and publish joint Reference Architectures and perform technical validations with various partners
  • Prepare and run onboarding sessions/workshops with various partners' teams to promote Canonical products and solutions

Understand Ubuntu, Linux, networking and services in real-world environments Architect cloud infrastructure solutions like Kubernetes, Kubeflow, OpenStack, Ceph, and Spark either On-Premises or in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Architect and integrate popular open source software such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Cassandra and NGINX Help partners to offer and architect joint solutions utilizing Canonical's technologies on top of the public clouds and in the data center Design and publish joint Reference Architectures and perform technical validations with various partners Prepare and run onboarding sessions/workshops with various partners' teams to promote Canonical products and solutions

What we are looking for in you

Extensive experience with Linux (Ubuntu preferred), Kubernetes, Ceph, software automation Experience designing and implementing solutions on top of public or private clouds Python and bash understanding, troubleshooting skills Fluent written and spoken English Excellent communication and presentation skills High motivation, ability to multi-task and follow-up reliably on commitments Interest in customer-facing engagement, including pitching, demonstrating and understanding customer environment and needs Interest in new technologies like LXD, Juju and Snaps Ability to travel globally up to 30% of the time Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related technical field experience

Job Description

Field Engineer (Civil)

will be responsible for monitoring civil engineering activities at the project site, witnessing quality assurance procedures as per the PMP, and monitoring project progress in accordance with the approved work program, QCS, and enabling QPM to deliver a quality project within plan and budget. • Assist the Senior Civil Engineer and Construction Manager in construction activities, reporting work progress, quality control, safety issues, and corrective actions. • Ensure construction work complies with QCS, approved shop drawings, methodology, and materials. • Review and comment on technical submittals such as procedures, method statements, material approvals, shop drawings, and as-built drawings. • Liaise with the Supervision Consultant and Main Contractor to protect existing services during construction. • Discuss and resolve work procedures, complaints, and construction issues with the Supervision Consultant and Main Contractor. This role requires a degree in Engineering (BSc minimum).

Candidates should have over 6 years of proven experience in a similar position.
