Senior Field Engineer plays a pivotal role with customers, client, project or service activities with the team assigned, being within the specifications, standards as applicable for the client side and follow Mcdermott guideline and policies.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Review all technical project documents upon contract award and identify any differences or discrepancies between pre-contract and post-contract documents, as well as deficiencies in tender method statements
- Attend bid interviews with local Management and participate in global management reviews
- Ensure all bid inputs have been reviewed and approved by the Division Manager and General Superintendent before submittal. The Diving Manager is to review and approve all diving estimates.
- Prepare technical clarifications/qualifications about the scope of work, drawings, and specifications and submit them to the Proposal Coordinator
- Develop a plan and allocate resources for the project to ensure that engineering deliverables are completed according to the agreed-upon schedule.
- Monitor the progress of the project section to prevent major issues or delays from occurring during the project.
- Take the lead in creating installation documentation, procurement, and fabrication materials (such as scopes of work, procedures, drawings, sketches, etc.).
- Ensure the accuracy of procurement, fabrication, and installation documentation, making sure they comply with the contract requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments within the project team to ensure smooth operations.
- Offer support on engineering-related matters to the Project/Procurement Subcontracting Department, ensuring that competent suppliers or service providers are chosen for the job.
- Determine the sequence of work to be performed
- Determine the equipment to perform the work based on availability, tender requirements, and management bid philosophy
- Determine the crew make-up required for each phase of the project. Update and circulate crew make-ups as required.
- Determine the duration of work, using historical records for similar jobs where applicable
- Prepare a bar chart schedule for the marine work including vessel modifications and other preparatory work
- Prepare miscellaneous costs for offshore work. This will include barge rig-ups / designs, port clearances, and project consumables. The offshore miscellaneous costs will include inputs from Diving, E&M, Safety, etc. and identify all other costs for the compliance with tender documents
- Coordinate with Construction Support Engineering to prepare the technical drawings for bid submittals
- Prepare written procedures on safe work methods which meet project requirements for inclusion in the technical bid submission
- Review the proposal document and identify the work to be subcontracted if any
- Prepare technical description and bid pricing structure for the subcontracted work based on schedule and Company specification. This is to be performed in coordination with the Subcontracts Administrator and Proposal Coordinator who assemble the commercial portions of the quotation. Typical subcontracts the Offshore

- Dredging / Trenching
- Pipe haul barges
- Near shore crossing
- Pipeline pre-commissioning

Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 7 - 9 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with Major Contractors or consultant
- At least 2-3 years of Operations and field Engineering experience
- Thorough knowledge of excel spreadsheet with Macro commands
- MS Project scheduling software
- Familiar with Subcontract activities

Provide technical expertise and implements occupational health and safety procedures to ensure that Dolphin
Energy's operations, facilities, equipment and materials pose minimal hazard on employees, in addition to

13. Prepare monthly statistical reports for all HSE KPIs within area of responsibility.

Role Summary
The Field Installation Engineer is responsible for providing on-site engineering and technical support during offshore installation campaigns. This position acts as the key interface between the offshore execution team and the onshore engineering office, translating engineering design into practical, safe, and effective offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities
Offshore Execution & Supervision
- Supervise and support offshore installation operations (pipelines, subsea structures, risers, umbilicals, and heavy lifts).
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with approved installation procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Coordinate with vessel master, deck foremen, and construction crew to ensure efficient task execution.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Marine, Offshore, Structural, Subsea, or related engineering discipline (or equivalent).
- 5-7+ years of experience in offshore installation, construction, or subsea operations.
- Previous exposure to field engineering roles on installation or construction vessels preferred.
- Good understanding of offshore construction methods (pipelay, heavy lift, SURF, subsea structures, or cable installation).
- Familiarity with rigging, lifting, and marine operations.
- Proficiency with engineering and CAD tools (Orcaflex, AutoCAD, SACS, etc.) desirable.
- Valid offshore survival (BOSIET/FOET), offshore medical, and HUET certifications.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Willingness to work offshore on a rotational schedule.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To provide mechanical and commercial support to the existing client base, target clients and the external sales team through consistently high level of mechanical expertise, highly responsive feedback and outstanding level of client service.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESINCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
:
- Conduct regular customer site visits, attending service jobs in the field for installation and trouble shooting of mechanical seals and associated equipments
- Produce comprehensive seal observation reports with analysis and recommendations
- Repairing mechanical seals on site and in workshop
- Assist end users during shut down, project commissioning
- Service/support ongoing refurbishment contracts with end users
- Measurements, site surveys and maintain schedule of installations
- Work closely with stake holders, local team, agent
- Assist with technical reviews of specific applications to allow the optional selection of products and services.
- Maintain and increase market share with key end users and develop territory market by generating opportunities for product and services
- Establish good relationship with end users
- Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability
- Discuss and solve complex problems with manufacturing departments, subcontractors, suppliers and customers
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Education/Training: University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in engineering and field service of mechanical seals, rotating equipments
- Knowledge/Skills: Engineering knowledge in a proactive multinational and multicultural environment.
- A strong technical knowledge of "John Crane" product portfolio or ability for quick learning on John Crane portfolio
Languages: English. Speaking in Arabic is an advantage
