Your day-to-day:
- Assist with daily financial transactions, including data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliations.
- Perform income audits to ensure that all revenues are properly recorded and reported in accordance with company policies.
- Reconcile income from various departments/sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve queries.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Undertake any other finance-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or Financial Controller.
- Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within hospitality or similar revenue-driven environment.
- Previous exposure to income audit processes is essential.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Duties And Responsibilities
Finance Department
- Record journal vouchers/cash receipts in the school’s accounting system
- Write up cash receipts for checks received as needed.
- Assist in preparing for the closing at the end of the month
- Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
- Support monthly payroll and keep organized records

Key Responsibilities
Monthly Financial Reporting
- Analyze monthly profit and loss statements to generate financial insights.
- Ensure all accounting entries are recorded accurately and in compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure timely invoice submissions.
- Review monthly provisions and accruals to ensure accuracy.
- Liaise with AP-Offshore teams to expedite monthly expense processing.
Compliance & Audits

- Lead internal and external audits with minimal supervision.
General Accounting & Reporting

Supervision of Finance Operations

Education & Certifications

**Your day to day**
As the Assistant Director of Finance and Business Support, you will report to the Director of Finance and Business Support and you’ll Assist in reviewing all proposed contracts for pricing and terms, ensuring that hotel’s interest comes first and is protected at all times. Ensure the timely preparation and release of monthly financial statements and other related reports and their accuracy. Assist in overseeing and ensuring the smooth running of the accounting functions. You will also assist in overseeing the preparation of the hotel’s yearly operating budget, and conducting the necessary audits.
