**Department**
BUDGETING & GRP FIN MNGMT REPORTING
**Primary purpose of job**
1. Assist the supervisor in the timely finalization of Annual Budget, Budget Revisions, Supplementary Budget, Operating
Expenditure and Other Operating Income Schedules, Budget Flash Reports, Variance Analysis and adhoc reports to
Management.
2. Ensure compliance with Budget Procedures issued by Finance Directorate and applicable Inter-Departmental procedures
issued by Organization and Systems Department.
3. Responsible to create and maintain document filing system.
4. Assist the supervisor in evaluating Operating Expenditure and Other Operating Income Budget and review actual
expenditure against budget on a periodic basis.
**Experience & Skills**
1. Over 3 years of experience in a reputed organization / audit firm preferably with exposure to Oil and Gas Industry.
Exposure to Reporting, Budgeting, Costing, Financial Analysis and/or Consolidation is preferred.
2. Knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards, Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, and Costing is
preferable.
3. Good interpersonal, communication, coordination and teamwork skills.
4. Good command of English language (verbal and written skills) and computer systems with expertise in Microsoft
(SAP preferred).
5. Works with confidentiality, integrity and ethics; follows policies and procedures of the Corporation; proactive, innovative,
improvising and seeks opportunities for continuous improvement.
6. Ability to work effectively in diverse, virtual and multi-cultural environments. Readily available to assimilate information

The Admin Assistant Accountant applies accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepares accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensures appropriate accounting control and procedures. These accounting practices are applied to a number of COAs that are managed by TPOC.
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual reports.
- Participate and assist auditors in the annual fiscal audit for COAs.
- Post date to various ledgers, registers, journals and logs following established accounting techniques and procedure.
- Maintains various ledger accounts including reconciliation of revenue accounts, expenditures and cash
balances.
- Controls FM contract and insurance policies dates, payments, variances and recommends renewal for assigned COAs
- Review purchase order preparation
- Prepares payments of assigned COAs
- Prepares quarterly billing of assigned COAs
- Prepare bank reconciliation
- Prepares receipt for each collection made during the day
- Prepares the financial statements of each assigned COA at the end of each month
- Prepare reports on current and forecasted expenditures/revenues against budget
- Reviews accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations and makes or direct correcting entries

Reporting to the Department Head, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of a broad range of courses within the Accounting domain. S/he will evaluate student progress and manage the resources of the learning environment. The successful candidate will liaise with industry and other educational institutions; participate in industry advisory committees and coordinate, manage and control projects within the specified program area. Faculty members will keep course portfolio documents required for accreditation processes and engage in instructional development/improvement plans. Education:
