What’s the job?
As Fitness Instructor , you are responsible for the safe, professional, effective, and quality functioning of fitness programs carried out for hotel guests and leisure club members. - Organize and supervise regular fitness-related activities and events to maximize members' enjoyment/use of the fitness centre and stay competitive.
- Develop and maintain safe and effective fitness procedures, programs, and activities, ensuring proper fitness practices at all times.
- Coordinate with other instructors to develop group class programs and introduce new ideas to maximize revenues.
- Develop and supervise fitness classes and activities (e.g., Zumba, Salsa, Bachata, Ballet).
- Assist with potential new members and inquiries, providing facility tours and being fully conversant with all prices and facility details.
- Enforce club rules and regulations.
- Supervise cleaning and maintenance of the fitness centre, ensuring standards are met and equipment is in good working order.
- Understand and assist with club facilities, membership fees, and coaching/massage/group class fees.
- Ensure guests and members adhere to club rules and regulations.
- Handle membership applications and processes, understanding club policies and operating the micros computer system for billing.
- Assist the Recreation Manager/Assistant Recreation Manager in achieving membership targets through marketing strategies.
- Perform additional tasks related to health club, products, services, cleanliness, and safety as assigned.
