As a Lead Engineer - Fleet Management, your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to customer requests for technical issue resolution, using technical product knowledge and analytical skills while adhering to engineering standards and procedures. Escalate issues as needed, acting as a liaison between field and design engineering to drive technical resolutions and corrective actions.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers to understand and address their technical issues and requirements promptly.
- Leading root cause analysis/investigation activities for product technical issues. Interface with Product Service, System, and Design Engineering teams, providing technical leadership to support project resolution of customer issues.
- Preparing technical presentations for Baker Hughes leaders and customers to communicate significant issues or developments.
- Traveling to customer locations to support technical review meetings, support outages, and assist commercial teams with technical support for sales and proposals.
- Providing engineering oversight during planned outages to meet reliability and availability goals.
- Partnering with Design Engineering and external/internal suppliers to facilitate logistical implementation of fleet program solutions.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronics engineering or equivalent.
- Have 10-15 years of experience in design engineering, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of heavy-duty gas turbines and auxiliaries.
- Possess strong knowledge of heavy-duty gas turbines and auxiliaries.
- Be willing to travel 20-25% on short notice.
- Be available to work during weekends for emergency support.

- Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers to make customer technical issues/requirements understood and addressed in a timely manner.
- Leading and programing manage root cause analysis/investigation activities for product technical issues. Interface with Product Service, System and Design Engineering teams, providing technical leadership to personnel supporting project assigned to resolve customer technical issue.
- Preparing technical presentations for BH Leaders and Customers ensuring the timely communication of significant issues or developments.
- Travel to customer locations to:
- Support customer technical review meetings and present recommendations to champion BH's commitment technical solution
- Support unplanned/forced outages to meet reliability/availability goals
- Provide commercial teams with technical support for sales and services proposal activities.
- Planning and providing engineering technical oversight to the Contractual Services and Field Services teams during planned outages to meet reliability and availability goals.
- Partner with the Design Engineering teams and interface with external and internal suppliers to facilitate the logistical implementation of Fleet Program technical solutions.
To be successful in this role you will:

Essential Job Duties Provide a full range of administrative support to intelligence analytic activities to include assisting in the following: receipt, storage, and issue of supplies and equipment; pick-up and delivery; warehouse operations; shipping and receiving; hazardous material management; property disposition; fleet management; inventory management; and classified waste destruction. Update the Logistics SharePoint site on a weekly basis.
Minimum Requirements Active In-Scope TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have a Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.
Work Environment Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Required to deploy and may be permanently relocated to the Command Forward Headquarters (CFH), Qatar (for contingency driven billet support) to provide logistics support and travel liaison services.
