As Food & Beverage Trainee
, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Have a good understanding of the outlet’s concept and food and beverage offerings and be able to verbally explain those to guests. Ensure that mise en place is completed shift to shift and during service in order to provide an efficient service. This includes cleaning tasks in front and back of house as well as polishing and assembling of equipment. Be able to operate the required steps on the point of sales system in order to process food and beverage orders. Be able to deliver service by understanding the guest requirements. Carry out all tasks in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner. Properly up-sell services and products to our guests at all times, enhancing service and generating increased revenue. Be able to process MOHG Gift cards and other non-cash methods of payment. Perform any tasks relating to billing according to hotel standards and cashiering policies. Ensure all dishes are presented in compliance with hotel standards and food & beverage specifications. Conserve all outlet equipment and utensils in good conditions by proper day to day handling of all applicable utensils and by carrying out required side duties as assigned. Assist in picking up all required stocks, including linen, beverage, dried goods and others and arrange them accordingly.

The Food & Beverage Manager organizes, manages, and controls all front-of-house food and beverage (F&B) operations as per the established strategy and business plan for the financial year. He/she is responsible for providing oversight and coordination for associated F&B businesses, such as concessions and JV oversight. The role also involves driving business analytics to maintain market share within the business.
Key Accountabilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Drive operational excellence as per Senior Manager / Divisional leadership.
Develop cyclical product offers: menu and composition calendar to optimize business performance.
Develop and implement F&B sales data management system to ensure optimal price and quality balance (PQM).
Manage and oversee all F&B operations and landside outlets daily.

Achieve financial objectives aligned with the AOP, maximizing revenues and profitability.
Maintain customer service standards for both internal and external customers.

Develop the financial acumen of the team through monthly business analysis, implementing financial policies including cash handling processes.
Develop individual business unit profit systems to optimize net operating income by location, based on changing guest profiles.
Analyze variances to financial targets, initiate corrective actions, and provide financial sales data.
Maximize profitability through cost mitigation and margin improvements across revenue streams.
Control par levels in outlets and merchandise for effective cost management.
Complete and present monthly reports on outlets.
Initiate product improvement programs to ensure continuous enhancement, collaborating with the Executive Head Chef to review and develop the F&B offer.
Ensure the F&B offer aligns with brand equity and achieves regional and global recognition.
Coordinate with JVCo's and concessionaires regarding brand and menu development, HACCP, training, marketing, logistics, and landlord support, ensuring contractual compliance.
Perform other departmental duties as directed by the Head of Department.
Increase sales through product placement and promotional campaigns; propose measures to improve operational performance.

The successful candidate will have the following:
Relevant college or university qualification at minimum Bachelor's level.
Qualifications in both food preparation and service such as City & Guilds (or equivalent) (7103 — Food and Beverage Service, 4425- Customer Service). HACCP Certified.

- To regularly check the service quality provided by the Food & Beverage and Banqueting employees by means of customer comments, feedback during departmental & management meetings, etc. and to actively promote all ongoing incentive programs & guest feedback schemes and to communicate the results of such programs/schemes to the Food & Beverage Manager on a regular basis.
- To lead the day-to-day operation of the Food & Beverage department.
- To ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are in place for all Food & Beverage sections and that they are updated frequently and adhered to at all times.
- To make sure that appropriate fire evacuation procedures are in place for all Food & Beverage and Banqueting sections, that all Food & Beverage and Banqueting employees are aware of them and that regular departmental fire drills are carried out.

About the role:

We are seeking a well-experienced Team Leader (F&B Service) who will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the Food & Beverage Division. You will bring our restaurant concepts to life by using your personal flair and style while interacting with our guests.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
Exceptional interpersonal skills showing care for and ability to connect with our guests
International experience in luxury hotel brands demonstrating adaptability to a range of cultures and environments
Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management
Desire to constantly learn and ambition to grow
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent English
