Mechanical Engineer Job Summary : We are seeking a motivated and skilled Site Mechanical Engineer with strong MEP experience to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing site execution activities related to HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and standards.
Responsibilities- Quantity Surveying of mechanical systems and preparation of quotation.
- Supervise daily site activities and ensure smooth execution of mechanical works.
- Prepare and follow up on Inspection Requests (IRs) and Request for Information (RFIs).
- Review, prepare, and modify shop drawings and as-built drawings as per site conditions.
- Assign daily tasks to technicians and site foremen, and monitor their productivity and quality of work.
- Coordinate with other trades (electrical, civil, etc.) to resolve site clashes and ensure seamless installation.
- Ensure compliance with Kahramaa, QCDD, and relevant local authority regulations.
- Conduct material inspections and raise material submittals.
- Supervise installation of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems.
- Manage documentation, daily progress reports, and maintain site records.
- Implement and enforce site safety practices and ensure adherence to QA / QC protocols.
- Coordinate builder works with civil and structural teams.
- Attend site meetings and report progress / issues to management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3-7 years of site experience in MEP projects, especially residential buildings.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems.
- Familiar with Kahramaa codes and MEP local authority standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Hands-on experience in managing site teams and technicians.
- Flexible, smart, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Strong communication and reporting skills (verbal & written).
