  • To identify and highlight required improvement areas within existing processes.
  • Prepare intelligent reports and analytics for client and internal stakeholder business reviews to provide the commercial organization with visibility and support in making decisions.
  • Lead analysis of revenue data and build templates to identify improvement opportunities in the Business travel segment.
  • Prepare analysis and make fact-based proposal to senior management to improve revenue production
  • Support management with ad-hoc analyses
  • Participate in & support the incentive agreement processes both from sales generation and cost reduction basis to achieve speed to market and maximize return on investment.
  • Support Global Sales wider commercial objectives across relevant functions through the formulation, development and implementation of tools and products that would facilitate and enhance station performance capabilities.
  • Lead User Team Acceptance Testing of products and systems developed for the business and delivered by IT Teams in order to ensure accurate timely delivery on commercial products.
  • Support in drafting and maintaining business line or product specific SOPs and guidelines in order to facilitate further business alignment and compliance.
  • Conduct periodical control checks using the tools provided to mitigate potential compliance risks from the business according to set policies and procedures.
  • Research/develop and produce B2B communication material in coordination with marketing specialists, relevant for specific client bases.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by Head of the Department

  • Bachelor's degree qualification with minimum of 4 years' job-related experience.
  • Or Diploma/ Vocational training with minimum of 5 year's job-related experience

  • CRM experience

Qualifications
A successful candidate should possess the following experience and qualifications:

*About The Role *
As a Sales Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting in the delivery of Sales and Distribution Strategies of Qatar Airways' Joint Businesses and Strategic Alliances, including partnerships with American Airlines, IAG (British Airways / Iberia) and Virgin Australia. Working closely with Qatar Airways Global Sales, Regional / Local Sales, CBI, RMCO teams and the Partners respective Sales organisations, develop and execute market and account level strategies that align to the principles of the overarching framework for both agency and corporate joint deals. Ensure that they are scalable and work in harmony between the different Partnerships and Qatar Airways' independent deals.

Other Key Responsibilities Are:

  • Support in the execution of each Sales and Distribution Business Plan across all in-scope geographies and of monitoring, reporting and communicating the joint accounts' performance, including identification of opportunities and action plans to deliver incremental value for the partnerships.
  • Deliver industry leading training for Qatar Airways' account managers and the implementation of best joint dealing practices.
  • Working alongside B2B Comms, Marketing and Creative Services, support in the creation of effective Sales collateral to help Account Managers deliver key messages and actions.
  • Support Sales in defining and maintaining effective end-to-end dealing processes including through CRM (e.g. Salesforce) and dealing tools.

Job Summary :
  • The incumbent will be a member of the relationship management/ sales team which is responsible for implementing the 'Domestic' (Qatar) element of AM's global investment product/service distribution strategy. He/she will therefore have individual responsibility for the achievement of that part of the set budget targets which is allocated to him/her.
  • Successful delivery will be contingent on effective participation in the Domestic Sales team and a focus on the optimization of all available distribution channels.
