We are working with our client based in Qatar to source an INTERFACE LEAD This is residential contract to be based in Qatar.





Qualification:


Bachelor’s degree in sciences or engineering





Experience:


• 8 years of experience of interface management in large-scale oil and gas projects including 1 year experience in a supervisory role, including acting/oversight role.


• Experience in project execution related environment with broad experience of projects, engineering, and operations.


• Experience in managing large, complex projects and interfaces.


• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and interdependencies.


• Experience in developing Interface Management Plans, developing interface management processes, and creating project interface registers and interface reporting systems.





Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Provide strategic direction for project interface activities across projects. Ensure that project interfaces are aligned with the organization's goals and strategic objectives.


2. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for effective project interface management.


3. Identify and manage risks or issue associated with project related interface, within the project and with other Compression Project Contractor’s and develop mitigation strategies as needed. Ensure potential conflicts between projects are identified and resolved in a timely manner.


4. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Liaise with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary interface related approvals. Monitor changes in regulations and ensure preparedness to meet those new requirements.


5. Manage integration of projects, ensuring interdependencies are identified and managed effectively including the potential for simultaneous operations (SIMOPS). Lead the interface management efforts, providing interface support to engineering studies executed by technical team and external stakeholders. Ensure project deliverables are aligned and integrated across various projects.


6. Serve as focal point of contact for project interface issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams. Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.


7. Monitor the progress of project interfaces, ensuring any issues are addressed proactively. Attend monthly critical interface meeting and provide update on any critical interface(s) that could jeopardize the overall program.


8. Ensure complex tasks are completed within the multi-cultural project environment as per agreed plan.


9. Develop and maintain documentation related to project interface activities. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of project interfaces.

What your day will look like

  • Enhance our continuous integration to guard Ubuntu image, release and package quality
  • Report on KPIs and analytical insights
  • Empower other teams for better planning and constant quality improvements

  • Work from home with international travel twice a year, for events up to two weeks long

What we are looking for in you

  • A strong software engineering, Linux, and open source background
  • In-depth knowledge of Python and Shell scripting
  • Experience with C/C++
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience working with others to identify, isolate and resolve issues

As a Linux System Engineer, you will work on the architecture, design and development of core components involved in the boot and startup of the Ubuntu Distribution, often interacting with the upstream community for projects like Grub, shim and u-boot. You will be discussing design with other team members and mentor less senior engineers and participate in code reviews and design reviews. You will also be working with other teams to ensure architecture decisions improve the overall performance and experience of Ubuntu.

  • Collaborate proactively with a distributed team
  • Work with highly technical team to define and shape the boot architecture of Ubuntu

We are seeking a highly skilled System Security Engineer to strengthen our cybersecurity posture across on-premise and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows infrastructure security, identity and access management, scripting, and compliance frameworks. This role is critical to ensuring the protection, integrity, and resilience of our IT systems, while supporting secure business operations and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage security solutions across Active Directory, ADFS, and Exchange (on-premise and hybrid).
  • Harden and secure endpoints, infrastructure, and communications systems against evolving cyber threats.
  • Automate security tasks and perform system audits using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
  • Manage patching processes using WSUS, SCCM, or third-party tools.
  • Integrate security logs and data into SIEM platforms and support threat detection/response initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to enforce identity and access management policies including MFA and Zero Trust architectures.
  • Support compliance efforts aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
  • Assess and respond to security incidents using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve system and application security controls.

RequirementsQualifications:

Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • One or more of the following certifications:
