Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities. Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk. Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments. Communicate issues to next shift. Complete required paperwork.

Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees. Overview

  • Ensure rooms are released in a timely manner by all the Housekeeping Supervisors to comply with the guaranteed check-in time policy of the hotel.
  • Prepare and record maintenance requests for all operational equipment and communicate this to the maintenance team or related supplier to maintain the quality of the equipment.
  • Schedule periodical tasks such as carpet shampooing and spring cleaning; and supervise the activity to ensure cleanliness of areas is maintained.
  • Ensure guest and cleaning supplies are utilized in an optimal way without any misuse and damages.
  • Responsible for implementing new training topics of all team members and ensure they understand the purpose of their role and standards required.
  • Prepare monthly training calendar for HK Supervisors and Linen runner to ensure it completed in timely manner.
  • Conduct daily inspection of rooms and public areas to ensure all the areas are clean and well maintained as per the hotel standards.
  • Monitor cleanliness of Guest rooms and public areas and provide feedback immediately when desired performance is not achieved to ensure Leading Quality Assurance standards are met.
