Requirements

To carry out feasibility study, concept design, load estimation for new District Cooling projects, lead the concept and detailed design of District Cooling underground networks, plants, and energy transfer stations. - Oversee design activities, review work, and monitor processes.
- Review engineering reports and procedures considering operation and maintenance needs.
- Identify issues and opportunities for improvements in design and engineering activities.
- Perform structural and geotechnical analyses for safety and durability.
- Assess and mitigate risks related to vibration, stability, and environmental impact.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering, or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in railway design engineering, with hands-on project experience.
- Experience in concept design, feasibility studies, and master planning for railway and road projects.
- Membership in professional institutions and relevant licensure preferred.
- Experience in GCC locations is a plus.
- Knowledge of railway design standards (e.g., EN 13848, UIC, BS EN 50126).
- Fluent in Arabic and English, with excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good management and leadership abilities, with experience liaising with government and industry stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, SharePoint, and railway design software (e.g., Bentley Rail Track, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
