This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Teaching Assistant to join our school in a key classroom support position.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to work with the teachers to help raise the learning and attainment of all pupils. You will demonstrate your ability to work independently whilst remaining a strong member of the team. • Support students with individual needs under the guidance of our SENCo
• Encourage the participation of all students in learning and extracurricular activities
• Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school’s policy and procedures
• Organise and manage resources
• Observe student performance and discuss observations to the class teacher
• Read and discuss lesson plans shared before lessons
• Communicate effectively with other colleagues
• Develop appropriate skills, qualifications, and/or experience needed for the role, through in school professional development opportunities
• Promote and follow safeguarding guidance and child protection procedures

We are seeking an HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) who can support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), with EYFS experience preferred, and who can support pupils with their social, emotional and mental health needs. The role also involves promoting high standards of behaviour and aiding with the development and delivery of individual educational and support plans.
