Ta’allum Group operates three schools located in South West Doha, with plans to open two additional schools. The teaching in our schools follows the English National Curriculum, adapted to meet the needs of our predominantly Qatari students. Islamic Education, Qatar History, and Arabic are taught by specialist teachers. The school places emphasis on Quality First Teaching in English, Mathematics, and Science, guided by UK standards. The schools are led by UK-trained senior leaders and predominantly staffed by UK or Western-trained teachers.
We are seeking creative and committed KS2 and KS3 Primary trained teachers, including potential school leaders with ECT status. The school provides support and mentoring for teachers new to international education, with opportunities for professional development.
The Ta’allum Group uses UK teaching resources such as Read Write Inc, Talk for Writing, and White Rose Maths, enabling experienced UK teachers to adapt to our learning environment.
Classes are small, averaging about 25 students per year group, with a six-class entry and strong support networks including IT, admin, SEN, and student counseling teams. Generic lesson planning is centrally provided; teachers adapt plans to their class needs.
The school places great emphasis on the quality of its teachers; only skilled and experienced Primary teachers will be considered for interview.
