Implement and operate Information Security controls within the Industrial Control Systems (ICS)/ Operational Technology (OT) environment, including developing procedures, to manage cyber security risks to acceptable operational levels and increase operational Information Security risks maturity in line with corporative Information Security policies and standards.
Experience
- Seven (7) years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in large ICS/OT and ICT environments in the Energy sector, preferably in Oil & Gas.
- Strong, hands-on technical experience with Industrial Control System solutions (e.g., Distributed Control Systems, SCADA, etc).
- Strong, hands-on technical experience with network technologies (e.g., Cisco) and diverse Information Security technologies (e.g., firewalls, anti-malware, etc).
- Professional certifications in information security management such as CISSP, CISA, GIAC, GICSP, GRID or others.
- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills capable of interacting with various levels of business and technical leadership (English).

The Procurement Engineer will play a critical role in sourcing and managing materials and equipment for complex instrumentation and control projects in the Oil & Gas sector. With strong technical knowledge in analyzers, sampling systems, cabinets, junction boxes (JBs), cables, shelters, flow metering skids, instrumentation packages, valves, and various sensors and transmitters, this role is essential for achieving cost-effective and timely procurement.
The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for supplier evaluation, generating purchase orders, assessing requests for quotations (RFQs), and utilizing analytical skills. Daily tasks also include effective communication with suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with procurement processes, and optimizing procurement strategies to meet project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers for analyzer systems, flow meters, sampling systems, and related components.
- Negotiate terms to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards and delivery timelines.
Cost Analysis & Value Engineering
- Support value engineering initiatives by identifying cost-effective alternatives for components like valves, transmitters (level, flow, pressure, temperature), switches, and gauges.
- Use market insights to make informed recommendations on materials, with a focus on cost savings.
Technical Procurement Execution
- Manage the procurement of cabinets, junction boxes, shelters, flow metering skids, and pipes, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications.
- Work with project teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery, tracking orders through the procurement cycle.
Inventory and Compliance Management
- Plan and manage inventory to meet project demands without incurring excess stock costs, following just-in-time principles where feasible.
- Ensure all procurements meet industry standards, including compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Education
: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical field). - Experience
: 4-5 years in procurement, specifically within Oil & Gas, with experience in analyzers, flow metering, and instrumentation packages. - Technical Knowledge
: In-depth knowledge of analyzer systems, sampling systems, flow metering, valves, transmitters, switches, gauges, cables, and associated hardware. - Skills

1. Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Planning & Project Engineer with a strong background in Control Systems or Electrical Engineering. This hybrid role involves both project planning and execution responsibilities, ensuring that engineering deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
2. Key Responsibilities:
Planning Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather input for planning activities.
Monitor project progress and prepare status reports, forecasts, and recovery plans.
Identify critical paths, constraints, and risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Support cost tracking, resource planning, and earned value analysis.
Project Engineering Responsibilities:
Support Project manager to prepare the procurement registers, activity list and subcontractor selection
Coordinate engineering activities across the project.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
Prepare method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and progress reports.
3. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning and engineering roles.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
Strong understanding of control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS) or electrical systems.
Experience in Qatar Energy LNG projects will be a plus
